  • Publication number: 20070233108
Abstract: An orthopedic fixation device comprises a plate defining a longitudinal axis, the plate being configured to be affixed to the spine with the longitudinal axis generally aligned with the spinal column and comprising an upper edge and a lower edge positioned apart along the longitudinal axis, and a top surface and a bottom surface separated by the upper and lower edges, at least one of the edges being generally oblique to the longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 7213742
Abstract: There is disclosed a system and method for creating value by facilitating third party participation in mobile commerce transactions, providing consumers with a unified perspective of commercial activity, and selectively implementing discounts. The system may include a computerized engine and a point of sale wallet, which may be embedded in a personal trusted device. The computerized engine may be programmed to selectively implement a discount associated with a particular transaction. The personal trusted device may comprise a wireless communications technology, which enables the device to communicate with a back-end system and/or other point of sale devices. The personal trusted device may serve as the nexus of consumer transactions by facilitating payment as well as receipt and storage of electronic receipts. The personal trusted device may also be configured to transmit electronic receipts via the communications technology.

  • Publication number: 20070092144
Abstract: Medical imaging information is randomly resampled into the new resampled form. The random resampling can maintain the random nature of the information, and can avoid count loss.

  • Publication number: 20060255467
Abstract: An integrated circuit package comprising an enclosure including a dielectric housing, a first electrical contact, and a second electrical contact. The dielectric housing, the first electrical contact, and the second electrical contact are configured to form a contact side of the enclosure. In addition, the first and second electrical contacts are sized to be substantially alignment insensitive for electro-mechanical connection to corresponding contacts of an end-use equipment. The enclosure encapsulates an integrated circuit die which is electrically coupled to the first and second electrical contacts. The alignment insensitive first and second electrical contacts may be electro-mechanically connected to corresponding contacts of an end-use equipment (e.g., a printer). Further, the integrated circuit package may be hosted by a peripheral device (e.g., a printer cartridge).

  • Publication number: 20050024150
Abstract: A monolithic amplifier that has a high-value passive feedback resistor. The passive feedback resistor is formed from arsenic implanted polysilicon, that has a sheet resistivity on the order of 1 G? per square, and is connected to form a resistor of at least 1 G?, more preferably 7.5 G? or more. The resistor is connected as the feedback resistor of a cascode amplifier and a capacitor is formed in parallel with the feedback resistor. A low noise amplifier can therefore be formed that is DC coupled and uses a completely passive resistance feedback element.
