    Abstract: A net for a sport fishing net device having a substantially hoop-shaped frame portion includes a bag of permeable net material, having a closed lower end and an open upper end. A selectively releasable elongate fastener extends along the upper end of the bag, and is configured to releasably wrap around and secure the upper end of the bag to the hoop-shaped frame portion. In one embodiment the selectively releasable elongate fastener is a zipper.
