  • Patent number: 10912104
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an interleaved, static time division multiple access (TDMA) for communicating in a power delivery system. For example, an access point may communicate with a plurality of electronic devices in the power delivery system. The access point may send a first signal indicating a first poll to a first group of devices in the power delivery system to allow the first group of devices to communicate data to the access point during assigned time slots of the first group of devices. The access point may send a second signal indicating a second poll to a second group of devices, separate from the first group of devices, in the power delivery system to allow the second group of devices to communicate data to the access point during assigned time slots following the second poll.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: February 2, 2021
    Assignee: Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
Inventors: Stephen F. Witt, Patricia Gilfeather, Jeff Bassett, Prajakta Apte, Anatoliy V. Kozlov

  • Publication number: 20120178047
Abstract: A ceramic/metallic dental abutment for use with an implant, the abutment generally including a ceramic body portion having a base region, a transgingival region, and a supragingival region. The base region includes an anti-rotational implant interface, such as an external polygonal fitting, for engaging a cooperating internal polygonal fitting of an implant to prevent relative rotation between the abutment and the implant. The ceramic abutment body portion additionally includes a metal implant contact portion for contacting the implant and providing a load-bearing, metal-on-metal interface between the abutment and the implant.

  • Patent number: 7121829
Abstract: A mount for holding and releasing dental implant components. The mount has a generally cylindrical body with a capture formed in the body. The capture includes an opening that is deformable between two positions. In a first position, a dental component is frictionally captured or engaged in the opening. In a second position, the dental component is released or disengaged as the opening deforms.

  • Publication number: 20030221977
Abstract: A vial for housing a dental implant and having an active retention mechanism that is moveable to one of two positions. In a first position, the retention mechanism firmly holds the implant during transportation or other periods of non-use. In a second position, the retention mechanism releases the implant so it can be removed from the vial.
