A knife assembly of the surgical tool includes a blade member defining a cutting edge at a distal end thereof and disposed within the end effector. The blade member is constructed of a first material such a stainless-steel. The knife assembly also includes a drive rod extending through the shaft and having a proximal end operably coupled to the drive input to translate the drive rod longitudinally through the shaft and the blade member through the end effector in response to actuation of the drive input. The drive rod further includes a distal portion constructed of a second material dissimilar to the first material, and the distal portion of the drive rod is coupled directly to the blade member.

In one example, the cutting element(s) may comprise a superhard table, such as a polycrystalline diamond table. In some embodiments, the polycrystalline diamond table may have a diamond density of approximately 95 percent volume or greater. In some embodiments, the thickness of the superhard table may be approximately 0.15 inch. In some embodiments, the superhard table may include a chip-breaking feature or structure. Methods of shaping, finishing, or otherwise machining materials are also provided, including the machining of materials comprising titanium.

Abstract: A fitness device comprising a foldable base that hinges to an upright body with laterally folding arms. Extension bars extend out from the base to provide additional stability. A seat moves up and down in a channel in the body. An assortment of resistance bands can be attached to the base, the seat, or to the arms when they are extended. The seat can be removed from the channel and hung over the top of a door such that the resistance bands hang from above a user's head to provide additional exercises. The base folds in on itself and can rotate against the body, such that the device is easily transported.

Abstract: Provided for herein is a TIG welding finger shield for a TIG welding glove, comprising (1) a sheet of flexible woven fiberglass material having a first end formed into a pocket to enclose a finger of a TIG welding glove, the sheet having a second end constructed to extend along a side of the TIG welding glove with flame resistant tabs attached to each edge of the second end; and (2) an elastic strap attached to and extending between the flame resistant tabs, the elastic strap and flame resistant tabs configured to wrap around the TIG welding glove to secure the TIG welding finger shield over the finger of the TIG welding glove.
