  • Publication number: 20230360061
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating digital assets corresponding to physical commodities are provided. Attributes identifying a first physical commodity are used to determine environmental attributes of the first physical commodity. Based on the first physical commodity and the environmental attributes, one or more smart contracts are contacted and activated to generate digital assets. The attributes and an indication of the digital asset are used in conjunction with the smart contract to generate a correlated digital asset, which can be recorded on a digital ledger.

  • Patent number: 10810248
Abstract: A processor can produce a database catalog for a second version of a database management system of the database. The database catalog can store metadata related to definitions of objects or tables included in the second version of the database. A controller can be caused to be established in memory cells being used for the first version of the database. A copy of the database catalog for the second version of the database management system can be stored in the memory cells being used for the first version of the database. The controller, using the copy of the database catalog, can produce the second version of the database management system. The second version of the database management system can be caused to interact with data stored in a storage of the database. The storage can be included in the memory cells being used for the first version of the database.

  • Publication number: 20170293923
Abstract: A system to assist users with the selection of and participation in wellness programs. The system assists a user in selecting wellness programs by recommending a curated set of wellness programs to the user. In recommending a curated set of wellness programs that a user can select, the system analyzes several factors. Some of the factors used in recommending wellness programs include user data, a population segment associated with a user, sponsor criteria, the likelihood that the user will be successful in recommended wellness programs, and user preferences.

  • Patent number: 9498287
Abstract: Methods for the conditioning of bioprosthetic material employ bovine pericardial membrane. A laser directed at the fibrous surface of the membrane and moved relative thereto reduces the thickness of the membrane to a specific uniform thickness and smoothes the surface. The wavelength, power and pulse rate of the laser are selected which will smooth the fibrous surface as well as ablate the surface to the appropriate thickness. Alternatively, a dermatome is used to remove a layer of material from the fibrous surface of the membrane. Thinning may also employ compression. Stepwise compression with cross-linking to stabilize the membrane is used to avoid damaging the membrane through inelastic compression. Rather, the membrane is bound in the elastic compressed state through addition cross-linking. The foregoing several thinning techniques may be employed together to achieve strong thin membranes.
