The vibrating headset may include one or more earpieces, each of which includes a speaker and a vibrator mechanism, wherein the vibrator mechanism receives a vibration input signal which is distinct from the audio input signal received by the speaker and defines the variable operational characteristics of the vibration to be generated by the vibrator mechanism. A gaming apparatus including a gaming device and a vibrating headset communicably coupled to the gaming device for generating vibrations of variable operational characteristics in response to receiving a vibration input signal from the gaming device is also provided. Finally, a method of creating vibrations defined by at least one variable operational characteristic in an earpiece of a vibrating headset is provided.

Abstract: A secure and efficient package for containing a compact electronic storage media device, especially suitable for use in the retail sales environment. The package is, in a preferred embodiment, integrally formed of a semi-rigid plastic material. This package includes a front and a back, both of which form recesses for a receiving media and other items. A media well is formed as a segregated recess within one or both of the front recess and the back recess. Media retaining tabs secure the media device in the media well in such a manner that tends to frustrate surreptitious removal by unauthorized persons.

A preprinted edge label is selectively coated with adhesive and affixed to a package in such a manner that the package may not be opened without violating the edge label. To facilitate opening, a tear strip is at least in part defined by two rows of obtuse perforations. The obtuse perforations, or at least a subset of them, are formed to be of uniform size and shape of a pair of slits that intersect at their respective end points, forming the obtuse angle.
