  • Patent number: 9957132
Abstract: An elevator control system for controlling a plurality of elevators in an elevator bank includes a processor in communication with a non-transitory memory, and a networking device. The processor executes software instructions that cause the elevator control system to receive an elevator call placed by at least one of a user and a mobile device of the user. The elevator control system wirelessly communicates with the mobile device to determine an elevator criteria set by the user on the mobile device via an elevator control application. The elevator criteria comprises a preference and a requirement. The software instructions allow the processor to determine whether an elevator in the elevator bank meets the requirement and the preference, and an elevator that meets at least the requirement is automatically assigned to the user.

  • Publication number: 20100177184
Abstract: An imaging system and method illuminates body tissue with infrared light to enhance visibility of a vascular structure, and generates an image of the body tissue and the subcutaneous blood vessels based on reflected infrared light. The system includes an infrared illumination source for generating the infrared light and a structure for diffusing the infrared light. The system further includes an imaging device for receiving the infrared light reflected from the body tissue and for generating an enhanced image of the body tissue based on the reflected infrared light. The enhanced image is produced by contrast enhancement techniques involving applications of an unsharp mask. The system further includes a project a projector for receiving an output signal from the imaging device and for projecting the enhanced image onto the body tissue.

  • Publication number: 20100051808
Abstract: An imaging system is disclosed for imaging buried structure, typically vasculature, below the surface of an object which can be skin, fat deposits, or other material and for projecting an image of the buried structure onto the surface of the object. Scanning lasers are used both to illuminate the object and to project an image onto it. One or more photodiodes measure the intensity of scattered and reflected light to create an image in conjunction with one or more of the scanning lasers.
