Publication number: 20210031549Abstract: A wheel part includes: a body having an axis; an annular outer surface through which the axis extends centrally and defining a socket; a stamp mounted in the socket for movement between an extended position wherein the stamp projects radially beyond the surface and a retracted position wherein the stamp terminates radially inwardly beneath the surface; and a bias mechanism adapted to bias the stamp for movement to the extended position. A manually grippable handpiece is adapted to releasably receive the body for rotatable movement about the axis and is adapted such that at least a portion of the surface projects beyond the housing. An inker is mounted to the handpiece in spaced relation to the surface such that, on rotation of the wheel, the stamp engages the inker and receives ink therefrom, whereby, when the body is roiled along a workpiece, the workpiece is demarcated at uniform intervals.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 1, 2019Publication date: February 4, 2021Applicant: Target Household Repair and Services Inc.Inventors: Douglas B. Cross, Jeff Dayman, Tony Stewart

Patent number: 7273586Abstract: An apparatus for conditioning mammalian blood for subsequent use in a medical procedure includes a cabinet having a secure environment and a door providing the only access to the environment. An input system transports a blood charge from a source to the cabinet and a flask is removably contained in the secure environment and coupled to the charge input system to receive the charge. Stressors are coupled to the cabinet and positioned for operation to create a conditioned charge in the flask. An output system is coupled to the flask and includes a receiver for the conditioned charge. The apparatus includes an automated control system operable upon closing the door to lock the door and to then condition the charge, and to then cause the charge to move from the flask to the receiver.Type: GrantFiled: December 6, 2005Date of Patent: September 25, 2007Assignee: Vasogen Ireland LimitedInventors: Sonya Mongomery, Jeff Dayman, Allen Muirhead, Paul Moore, Taras Worona, Simon Treadwell, Murray Voakes, Thomas Porter, Carlton Chong, Liung Sen Liao, Duncan Newman

Patent number: 7182249Abstract: An apparatus for obtaining data from a document at point of presentment. The document has a predetermined width, and the apparatus has a frame, a drive mechanism mounted on the frame, and sensors. The drive mechanism is adapted to move the document along a document path in the apparatus between a home position, at which the document is inserted into the apparatus, and an exit position, at which the document is removable from the apparatus. The drive mechanism includes a roller rotatable about a roller axis for engaging a contact portion of the document extending along the width thereof. The roller has a substantially smooth surface for supporting the contact portion. The sensors are for obtaining document data from the contact portion of the document.Type: GrantFiled: April 10, 2003Date of Patent: February 27, 2007Assignee: RDM CorporationInventors: Glen Johannesson, Jeff Dayman, Kevin Michener, Jeff Davis, Brian Johannesson, Graham Heit, Bill Stefanuk, Fred Brouwer
