Abstract: A method of assembling a knocked-down shade and a shade assembly are described, which use a product packaging sleeve repurposed from product packaging. The knock-down shade assembly has a flexible shade cover, a top rigid member with an UNO fitting, a bottom rigid member, a plurality of clips, and a product packaging sleeve that functions as a support liner for the flexible shade cover. Likewise, the flexible articles can be assembled and provided in accordance with this discussion.

The lamp shade also includes a bulb socket supported by the first interlocking shade section and at least partially surrounded by a plurality of ventilation holes. One of the first and second interlocking shade sections has an annular recess and a set of spaced fingers within the annular recess. The other of the first and second interlocking shade sections has a radially inwardly directed annular flange. The annular flange including a set of slots sufficient in number and sized so as to receive the fingers, whereby the fingers are received in and rotatable relative to the slots to interlock the first and second interlocking shade sections.

Abstract: The present invention relates to arrangements of rope lights in lamps and pedestals, and packaging therefor. The lamp assembly includes an upper assembly for receiving a light bulb and a lamp shade, a base and at least one coupler having a through hole. A lower support body having a bottom opening and a top opening is located between the coupler and the base and an upper support body having a bottom opening and a top opening is located between the upper assembly and the coupler. Both the upper and lower bodies each having a conduit for receiving a rope light which is disposed within the upper and lower support bodies and extends therebetween within the through hole of the at least one coupler. A first connector is adapted to connect the upper assembly to the top opening of upper body and a second connector adapted to connect the base to the bottom opening of the lower body.
