    Abstract: A barre exercise device providing balance support for a user during exercise may include a horizontal bane exercise bar and a pair of brackets. The horizontal bane exercise bar is elevated above a floor surface by supporting structure in contact with the floor surface. The pair of brackets is attached to the supporting structure. Each bracket of the pair of brackets is adapted to support one or more hand weights therein. The device is lightweight yet structurally configured so as to support a user's entire weight thereon.
