Abstract: A multi-mode high chair for a child that may be alternatively configured as a high chair, a toddler chair, or a booster seat. The high chair comprises a toddler chair on which is nestingly mounted a booster seat to define a high chair configuration. An easily operable latch mechanism secures the booster seat to the toddler seat to retain the chair in the high chair configuration. The latch is easily and conveniently operable to enable the booster seat to be removed from the toddler chair to convert the high chair into a toddler chair and a separate booster seat. Folding feet on the booster seat allow it to stably rest on a chair or the like. A tray selectively attachable to the booster seat and an adjustable footrest add further utility to the high chair.

Abstract: A foldable napper accessory for a child's playard positions an infant to minimize the risk of falls. The napper frame is foldable from a generally planar deplyed orientation about one or more generally longitudinally extending frame folding axes. The ends of an elongate support leg are pivotally connected to opposing side rail members of the napper frame and configured to be foldable about a leg folding axis generally transverse to the frame. Pivoting about the leg folding axis angles the support leg from the plane of the deployed napper frame or aligns the leg with the plane of the napper frame for stowage. An intermediate folding joint is provided in the support leg which includes intermediate axis generally perpendicular to the leg folding axis that allows folding of the leg only when the leg is folded into a specific orientation.

Abstract: An improved bassinet frame for an infant playard comprising a plurality of structural members configured to nest within a playard top frame top and rest upon supports on corner members of the playard frame. The bassinet frame includes a pair of spaced-apart, parallel side members connected by a pair of perpendicularly aligned uplift preventing end members. The bassinet frame end members extend beneath playard frame end members when the bassinet frame is deployed for use such that the playard end frame members inhibit uplift of the bassinet frame. The side members each further include a joint positioned approximately midway along the respective lengths allowing the bassinet frame to be folded along an axis parallel to its width. Folding the bassinet frame retracts the end members from beneath the playard end frame members and allows the bassinet frame to be removed from the playard.

The folding mechanism synchronizes motion of the front leg and handle to collapse them adjacent to the rear leg. The mechanism also actuates a swivel mechanism on a front wheel that swivels the front wheel to a predetermined position optimized to allow the stroller to be supported by the wheels when folded.

The changing table includes a latching member moveable between catch and release positions that engages the connector as the changing table is moved into an operable position and prevents the changing table from being uplifted from the playard. The moveable latching member is biased toward the catch position. Movement toward the release position allows the changing table to be removed from the playard.

An adjustment member is fixed to the frame and defines a plurality of detents that correspond to selectable recline positions for the reclinable seatback support. A locking member is movably attached to the reclinable seatback support and removably engages one of the plurality of detents. An actuator handle is connected to the locking member and is movably mounted on a handle guide that is fixed to the seatback support. The actuator handle is slidable along the handle guide to a first position to move the locking member away from one of the plurality of detents and slidable along the handle guide to a second position to move the locking member into engagement with one of the plurality of detents.

The at least one recline lock is movable between a locked position to set the recline position of the seat back frame relative to the seat bottom frame and an unlocked position to allow adjustment of the recline position of the seat back frame relative to the seat bottom frame.
