Publication number: 20240077268Abstract: A system for providing discharge monitoring of a firearm includes a first sensor, a trigger pull sensor assembly, an event detection module and a display. The first sensor senses a first acceleration along a first axis and sends a first input signal. The trigger pull sensor assembly senses mechanical movement of a trigger of the firearm, and communicates a second input signal corresponding to a position of the trigger. The event detection module receives the first input signal and compares the first acceleration to an acceleration threshold indicative of a shot; receives the second input signal and determines whether the second input signal is satisfies a second threshold indicative of a shot; determines whether a discharge has occurred based on both the first signal satisfying the acceleration threshold and the second input signal satisfying the second threshold; and generates an event detection signal based on the determination.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2023Publication date: March 7, 2024Applicant: Armaments Research Company, Inc.Inventors: Jeff O'DELL, James GORDON, Michael CANTY

Patent number: 11177131Abstract: Porogen accumulation in a UV-cure chamber is reduced by removing outgassed porogen through a heated outlet while purge gas is flowed across a window through which a wafer is exposed to UV light. A purge ring having specific major and minor exhaust to inlet area ratios may be partially made of flame polished quartz to improve flow dynamics. The reduction in porogen accumulation allows more wafers to be processed between chamber cleans, thus improving throughput and cost.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 2018Date of Patent: November 16, 2021Assignee: Novellus Systems, Inc.Inventors: Lisa Marie Gytri, Jeff Gordon, James Forest Lee, Carmen Balderrama, Joseph Brett Harris, Eugene Smargiassi, Stephen Yu-Hong Lau, George D. Patent number: 9269689Abstract: An integrated circuit package comprising an enclosure including a dielectric housing, a first electrical contact, and a second electrical contact. The dielectric housing, the first electrical contact, and the second electrical contact are configured to form a contact side of the enclosure. In addition, the first and second electrical contacts are sized to be substantially alignment insensitive for electro-mechanical connection to corresponding contacts of an end-use equipment. The enclosure encapsulates an integrated circuit die which is electrically coupled to the first and second electrical contacts. The alignment insensitive first and second electrical contacts may be electro-mechanically connected to corresponding contacts of an end-use equipment (e.g., a printer). Further, the integrated circuit package may be hosted by a peripheral device (e.g., a printer cartridge).Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2012Date of Patent: February 23, 2016Assignee: Maxim Integrated Products, Inc.Inventors: Jeff A. Gordon, Steven Hass, Hal Kurkowski, Scott Jones

Patent number: 7625264Abstract: This invention is a pneumatically driven dry wall sander with the capability to create a vacuum to trap the dust, which is produced during the sanding operation, and then safely eject the dust away from the work site. A pneumatic motor that is operated by air will operate the sander and sanding disk and at the same time operate a set of impellers that create a slight vacuum. The air flow can be regulated so that the speed of the motor can be controlled depending on the specific need of the worker in performing sanding operations.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 2008Date of Patent: December 1, 2009Inventor: Jeff Gordon

Patent number: 7365334Abstract: A patient movement system is used to detect movement of the patient in multiple of different coordinates. The movement of the patient is obtained in real-time and correlated to times of medical images, and used to compensate those medical images for the actual patient movement. This can be used in place of post processing algorithms which do not have actual medical information.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 2005Date of Patent: April 29, 2008Assignee: Digirad CorporationInventor: Jeff Gordon
