Abstract: A storage bin assembly includes a first bin equipped with a lid, a pair of wheels and a telescoping handle, the first bin having a dogbone cross-section that provides for two larger storage portions for storing containers and a smaller storage portion between the two larger storage portions, the dogbone configuration preventing the stored containers from moving about in the first bin while providing a space for storing additional items in the first bin. A second bin also having the dogbone cross-section can be stacked on the first bin where the lid of the first bin is configured with at least a recessed region that receives a raised region at a bottom of the second bin for improved lateral stability between the stacked first and second bins.

Abstract: A storage bin includes a lid, and a side window advantageously providing visual and physical access to the interior of the bin without the removal of the lid. The lid includes a cover for the side window, the cover being a rigid extension of the lid. The cover for the side window may be hinged to the lid and thus movable relative to and independent of the lid. The window and the cover are angled relative to the lid in enabling visual and physical access into the bin without obstruction by a similar second storage bin stacked above the lid, the second storage bin being advantageously configured with an angled side wall portion and a beveled end wall portion that accommodate movement of the hinged cover of the bin below between opened and closed positions.

Abstract: A bucket configured for nesting with other buckets when empty or stacking with other buckets when lidded, includes a bottom wall and a side wall with circumferential flanges and a circumferential apron for structural reinforcement. The circumferential apron has enlarged portions at locations of attachment of a swing handle and also adjoins with a pair of handles at diametrically opposite positions, each handle including a through-hole for receiving a tensile fastener for coupling the bucket with other empty buckets nested therewith in allowing the coupled buckets to be transported by use of the swing handle of the uppermost bucket. A lid is provided with stabilizers that help stabilize buckets stacked above from lateral movement.

The template may be installed as a reinforcement plate to structurally reinforce the lid for supporting the weight load of the container and its contents.

Abstract: A transport assembly has a stack of storage containers and a stack of lids sandwiched between upper and lower protective trays that are secured by straps that encircle the upper and lower trays and the lids and containers stacked therebetween. The containers are exposed between the upper and lower trays for ease of inspection by potential buyers and handling by a upper edge by which the containers can be lifted and carried. The top and bottom members are each advantageously constructed from a sheet of materials, e.g., corrugated cardboard, to minimize manufacturing costs, reduce weight for shipping and save resources. The straps are strategically wrapped around extrusions form in the containers that increase structure integrity.
