  • Patent number: 11375640
Abstract: A data cabinet is disclosed, having a cabinet body for enclosing one or more rack-mounted units, the cabinet body having an inlet for allowing a cooling medium to enter the cabinet and an outlet for allowing the cooling medium to exit the cabinet, a rack for supporting the one or more rack-mounted units within the cabinet body, and one or more sealing members. The rack and the cabinet body define a first plenum space in fluid communication with the inlet and a second plenum space in fluid communication with the outlet. The sealing members substantially block the cooling medium from flowing between the first and second plenum spaces, whilst permitting the cooling medium to flow from the first plenum space to the second plenum space through the one or more rack-mounted units. This arrangement can improve the cooling efficiency, by increasing the flow rate through the rack-mounted units.

  • Publication number: 20160027234
Abstract: A computer implemented method for online multi-player games is provided. The method includes receiving game registration information for at least one game, receiving player registration information from at least one player for the at least one game, compiling a game board for the game, where the game board comprises a plurality of player selected spaces, where each selected space is associated with at least one value of a selected statistic for each entity of the competitive event, transmitting to each player at least one value of the selected statistic for each entity associated with each space selected by that player, receiving an actual value of the selected statistic for each entity from the associated competitive event, determining which space is associated with the actual value of the selected statistic for each entity, and transmitting a notification of winning the prize to the player with the determined space.

  • Publication number: 20120185824
Abstract: A mechanism for dynamically resolving polymorphic type dependencies between parallel heterogenous run-time environments is provided. The mechanism comprises a registry of class types for software objects, in which each class type is linked to a hierarchy of bindings rooted at the binding for that class type with descendent bindings in the hierarchy relating to more specific sub-classes. At run-time a pointer to an object is received, and the received static type of that pointer can be looked up in the registry to determine the location in the hierarchy of bindings at which to make an initial query for the most specific sub-class compatible with the dynamic type of the object. Subsequently, beginning at the determined location in the hierarchy of bindings, the most specific sub-class compatible with the dynamic type of the object is determined, and a run-time binding based on the most specific sub-class identified can be selected.

  • Publication number: 20040059726
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide the searcher a unique method of interacting with one or more documents to build a context-sensitive query that can retrieve additional documents that are closer to the searcher's needs. Embodiments of the invention do not require the searcher to enter any text and translate the searcher's intent into complex queries that will be executed by existing search engines. Embodiments of the invention iteratively modify the context-sensitive query and eventually retrieve a document that satisfies the searcher's requirements.
