Abstract: This disclosure includes devices, systems, and methods for identifying and tracking products to be obtained and/or tasks to be performed for a structure (e.g., for repair and/or remodeling of the structure). For example, some embodiments of the present portable computing devices comprise: a processor; an input device; a display and memory storing instructions executable by the processor to: present via the display an input interface having a plurality of input portions each associated with a different portion of a structure; receive via the input device user selections of products that are available form a supplier, at least some of the selected products each associated with a different portion of the structure; and generate an output of information associated with the selected products, the output including for each of the selected products a unique identifier corresponding to a product record of the supplier.

Abstract: A modular software-defined storage system and method for providing modular software-defined storage, and components thereof, are disclosed herein. In at least one example embodiment, the storage system includes a backplane, a plurality of storage pods, and a management module storing at least one computer program for causing the storage pods to be configured for operation and for facilitating, when the storage pods are configured for operation, storage of information on the storage pods in accordance with a software-defined storage application. The system also includes first and second interfaces by which an additional computer device can at least indirectly engage in communications with the storage system and by which the storage system can at least indirectly engage in additional communications with an additional system having at least one additional storage pod such that the storage system is expanded to allow for additional storage.

Abstract: A security system can include a tag unit adapted to be secured to an infant via band. The first tag unit can include a temperature sensor, and a capacitance sensor. A temperature alarm can be provided in response to a negative slope of a temperature curve associated with temperature data from the temperature sensor. A capacitance alarm can be provided in response to a comparison to capacitance data from the capacitance sensor to a baseline when the tag unit is not secured to the infant. A resistance alarm can be provided in response to resistance data indicating a spike in resistance followed by a relatively flat line response.

Abstract: A sensing system is disclosed. The sensing system includes a capacitive sensing pad comprising a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer. A clip is engageable with the pad and comprises a first conductor and a second conductor. The first conductor is configured to conductively engage the first conductive layer and the second conductor is configured to conductively engage the second conductive layer when the clip is engaged with the pad.
