    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for remotely controlling access of vehicles into and out of a secured area. At a kiosk located at the point of entry into the secured area, information for identifying a vehicle and/or its driver are obtained via input devices at the kiosk and stored at a remote operations center. While a vehicle is inside the secured area, the stored information may be viewed, modified, and/or supplemented. Once a vehicle is authorized to exit the secured area, an electronic indication is received at the operations center. At a kiosk located at the point of exit from the secured area, identifying information pertaining to the vehicle and/or driver is again obtained. The information is verified at the operations center to ensure a sufficient match with identifying information for the vehicle and/or driver previously stored, before the operation center transmits a signal allowing the vehicle to exit.
