Abstract: Various embodiments of a media drive containment apparatus and methods are provided. In one representative embodiment a media drive containment apparatus includes a drivecage which supports at least one media drive. The drivecage is moveable along an axis from an operating position to a release position and the movement of the drivecage to the release position unlocks the media drive from the drivecage.

Abstract: A plurality of interchangeable access panels each adapted to be removably attached to a partially-assembled chassis to occupy at least a portion of a vacant region of an exterior wall. Also, each access panel comprises a configuration of at least one aperture each constructed and arranged to provide operational access to components housed in the chassis.

Abstract: An apparatus comprises a movable drive cage coupled to a computer case. The drive cage houses a drive, and a clutch mechanism is attached to the computer case and is coupled to the drive cage. The clutch mechanism inhibits movement of the drive cage.

Abstract: A protective assembly for housing and accessing components is featured. The protective assembly has a chassis, a cover, and a flexible latch for securing the cover to the chassis. The flexible latch has a latch and the base has a catch. The base includes a fulcrum. The fulcrum is used during removal of the cover to pivot the latch so that the latch is brought free of the catch.

Abstract: A returnable container suitable to be assembled to contain products, and to be disassembled for return shipping, comprises a molded base having a container bottom plate surrounded by an upstanding flange, a molded top closure having a container top plate surrounded by a depending flange, and a sleeve part suitable for providing sidewalls surrounding a space between the base and the top closure and having upper and lower margins suitable for being received within in the flanges. The sidewalls are each formed from plastic material having an outer sheet and an inner sheet held in spaced relation by a plurality of vertically orientated webs, and the sidewalls are connected by hinge sections comprising flexible continuations of the outer sheets of adjacent sidewalls which extend across gaps between inner sheets of adjacent sidewalls.
