Patent number: 12385418Abstract: An oil supply system for an aircraft engine having a rotating shaft comprises a retaining nut including a unitary annular body having an outer surface and an inner surface extending around a central axis between a first end and a second end. The inner surface has a threaded portion at the second end. The threaded portion is configured for threaded engagement with a corresponding threaded portion of the rotating shaft. The outer surface of the unitary annular body includes a series of teeth distributed around the central axis of the retaining nut. The teeth are configured for engagement with a tightening tool. A first tooth of the teeth has a first radial oil scoop formed thereon. The first radial oil scoop defines an oil passage extending from the outer surface to the inner surface of the nut at an axial location between the first end and the threaded portion.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 2024Date of Patent: August 12, 2025Assignee: PRATT & WHITNEY CANADA CORP.Inventor: Jeff Lee

Patent number: 12373898Abstract: An apparatus includes a display, memory, and processor. The memory stores information associated with subaccounts of an account. The processor receives a request to display the information. The processor displays a table that includes the names of the subaccounts, premium payment allocation amounts assigned to the subaccounts, and values of the subaccounts. The processor displays a graphical illustration associated with the account, that includes a first set of sections associated with the allocation amounts and/or a second set of sections associated with the values. Each section defines an area on the display that is proportional to the corresponding allocation amount or value. The processor further receives an indication associated with one of the subaccounts. In response, the processor emphasizes the row of the table and at least one of the sections assigned to the subaccount.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 2021Date of Patent: July 29, 2025Assignee: The Prudential Insurance Company of AmericaInventors: Christopher Brian Potter, Brian James Perra, Lisa Marie Wark, Jeff Lee Dennie, David Nothnagel, Ava Posner, Linda Julian

The unbalanced rotor includes a hollow body rotatable about a rotation axis and an unbalancing weight installed inside of the hollow body. The unbalancing weight is installed inside of the hollow body to intentionally vibrate the rotor during rotation of the rotor. The unbalancing weight is fastened to the hollow body via one or more fasteners. A portion of the unbalancing weight is disposed radially inwardly of a retainer of the hollow body and is engaged with the retainer to define a radial load path between the unbalancing weight and the hollow body via the retainer. The radial load path excludes the one or more fasteners.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 29, 2023Publication date: May 29, 2025Inventors: Jeff LEE, Vinod PARA
