    Abstract: In at least some embodiments, a computer system includes a processor. The computer system also includes a light source. The light source provides a structured light pattern. The computer system also includes a camera coupled to the processor. The camera captures images of the structured light pattern. The processor receives images of the structured light pattern from the camera and identifies a user gesture based on distortions to the structured light pattern.
