    Abstract: A hole in a door is fitted with an insert The insert includes a frame assembly and a mounting plate which are affixed together and sandwiching portions of the door adjacent the hole therebetween. The frame assembly further includes a lattice spanning the hole. An inner door is pivotably mounted to the mounting plate for selectively opening and closing the insert. The frame assembly is configured to support a screen adjacent thereto and inboard of the inner door.
