    Abstract: A social betting system includes a computing device configured to receive, via an application on a first device, a proposed wager and one or more parameters of the wager. The computing device determines conformance of the proposed wager and parameters, and transmits, to the application on a second device, the wager and the parameters. The computing device receives, via the second device, a response to the wager and the parameters and finalizes the wager and the one or more parameters of the wager. The computing device determines an outcome of the wager and transmits, to the application on the first device and second device, a resolution of the wager.
