  • Publication number: 20200073418
Abstract: Apparatus are configured to monitor lifespan of parts on a pressure regulator. These configurations may include sensors that generate signals in response to movement of parts on the pressure regulator. Processing circuitry can process the signals to identify data that corresponds to deflection of a spring inside of the pressure regulator. This data may correlate with duty cycle of a diaphragm. In one implementation, utilities can use the duty cycle to gauge useable lifespan of the diaphragm as well as other operating conditions that may prevail on the pressure regulator.

  • Patent number: 9273153
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a method of processing natural rubber latex using an extruder including a plurality of process zones by processing coagulant with latex to produce a coagulum and serum. In some embodiments, the coagulant can include an acid, a metal salt, or a mixture of both. Some embodiments can include a coagulum wash stage, and a deresination step. In some embodiments, the extruder can be operated to move coagulum through the extruder to remove at least some fraction of water to form a substantially dewatered coagulum, and a drying step to form a dried coagulum. In some embodiments, a stabilizer such as an antioxidant can be introduced into the extruder, and processed to remain in some fraction in the dried coagulum. Some alternative embodiments include a latex processing method of providing a flow of coagulant, and combining latex with the flowing using an emulsion dispensing bar.

  • Patent number: 8068587
Abstract: The present invention is used in an emergency network to identify and provide the correct public safety access point (PSAP) to service an emergency call originating from a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) subscriber. Data stores in an emergency services network associate PSAPs to an input ZIP code obtained from a street address returned from an MSAG relating to a VoIP call, and PSAPs to an input ESN. An emergency caller's civic street address is matched against a nationwide MSAG data store to result in a MSAG ESN. From the street address, the emergency caller's ZIP code is matched to a PSAP in an appropriate ZIP/PSAP data store. A matching PSAP from both the ZIP/PSAP and PSAP/ESN data stores determines with great reliability the identity of the proper PSAP for that emergency caller.
