    Abstract: Disclosed is an air damper actuator operated by a brushless DC (BLDC) motor. An output shaft configured for connection to an air damper is driven by the BLDC motor. A controller receives position information indicative of an angular position of the output shaft and generates a control signal to control the BLDC motor for rotation by an amount based on the position information.
