Patent number: 12110268Abstract: A cannabis infused oil is formed by collecting and drying raw cannabis material having a desired cannabinoid profile. Next, the raw dried cannabis material is blended with oil to obtain a cannabis infused oil mixture. Blending is performed without causing the cannabis material to become decarboxylated. Next, the cannabis material is filtered from the cannabis infused oil mixture thereby obtaining a cannabis infused oil. The cannabis infused oil has at least two cannabinoids present in the oil in accordance with the desired cannabinoid profile. Next, the cannabis infused oil is packaged for storage and shipment. The cannabis infused oil is formed without any alcohol, does not have any decarboxylated cannabinoids and is non-psychoactive. In one example, the cannabis infused oil has between 100 milligrams and 2,000 milligrams of cannabinoids per fluid ounce of cannabis infused oil. In another example, before blending with oil, the cannabis material is combined with alcohol.Type: GrantFiled: March 19, 2021Date of Patent: October 8, 2024Inventor: Jeff Nordahl

Patent number: 11904050Abstract: A Cannabis juice purée is packaged using high pressure processing (HPP). First, a Cannabis juice purée is formed by collecting raw Cannabis material and blending the raw Cannabis material together with a thickening agent and a sweetening agent. Next, the Cannabis juice purée is deposited into a container and the container is processed using HPP. In HPP, the Cannabis juice purée is loaded into a high-pressure chamber filled with pressure transmitting fluid, such as water. The pressure is applied to the Cannabis juice purée. A lid is used to seal the opening of the container. HPP allows the mixture to be pasteurized without applying heat. HPP extends the shelf life of the Cannabis juice purée to several weeks to months without applying heat that could undesirably decarboxylating the cannabinoids present in the Cannabis juice purée. Shelf life is preserved while providing a liquid beverage form of Cannabis juice purée.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2018Date of Patent: February 20, 2024Inventor: Jeff Nordahl

Patent number: 11779622Abstract: A raw cannabis powder is formed and packaged for convenient and low-cost access to raw cannabis. First, raw cannabis material having a pre-determined ratio of cannabinoids is collected. Next, the raw cannabis material is dried. Next, the dried raw cannabis material is grinded to obtain a finely ground powder. Next, the raw cannabis powder is packaged into a container. High concentrate cannabis extract is optionally added to increase potency of cannabinoids. Instructions are provided that instruct a consumer on amounts and types of cannabinoids, dosing and serving sizes for consuming the powder in its raw non-decarboxylated form, dosing and serving sizes for a decarboxylated (heated) version of the powder, and how to decarboxylate the cannabinoids within the powder. A consumer purchases the container of raw cannabis powder and adds the raw cannabis powder to food or beverages, consumes the powder directly, or decarboxylates the powder and consumes the decarboxylated powder.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2016Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Inventor: Jeff Nordahl

Patent number: 11191794Abstract: Packaged hemp products formed from raw cannabis are provided. In one example, frozen hemp cubes or frozen hemp ice pops are provided. First, raw cannabis material is collected and blended to form hemp juice purée. Next, the hemp juice purée is poured into molds for manufacturing frozen hemp cubes or into tube-shaped containers for manufacturing frozen hemp ice pops, and the hemp juice purée is frozen. In another example, packaged hemp juice purée is formed by collecting raw cannabis material, blending the material to obtain hemp juice purée, and packaging the hemp juice purée using high pressure processing (HPP). In yet another example, hemp powder is formed by collecting raw cannabis material, drying out the raw cannabis material, and grinding the dried raw cannabis material to obtain a hemp powder. The hemp powder is packaged and provided along with instructions.Type: GrantFiled: May 1, 2018Date of Patent: December 7, 2021Inventor: Jeff Nordahl

Patent number: 11185502Abstract: Non-psychoactive packaged frozen cubes of cannabis juice purée are provided. First, raw cannabis material is collected. Next, the cannabis material is blended with water, fruit juice, or vegetable juice and thickening agent to form cannabis juice purée. Next, the purée is poured into molds having an identical size and shape. Non-decarboxylated high concentrate cannabis extract is optionally added to increase potency. Next, the tray is frozen to obtain frozen cubes of cannabis juice purée. Next, the cubes are removed from the tray and packaged in a vacuum sealed bag. A dispensary can store the package in a freezer until distribution. The package includes a label describing amounts and types of cannabinoids present in each cube. The cubes are non-psychoactive and do not include decarboxylated cannabinoids. A consumer opens the package and deposits a desired amount of cubes into a blender with other ingredients to form a beverage with non-decarboxylated cannabinoids.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 2018Date of Patent: November 30, 2021Inventor: Jeff Nordahl

Patent number: 11178893Abstract: A method of manufacturing and packaging frozen ice pops of cannabis juice purée involves collecting raw cannabis material. Next, raw cannabis material is blended with water, fruit juice, or vegetable juice and a sweetening or flavoring agent to form cannabis juice purée. Decarboxylated or non-decarboxylated high concentrate cannabis extract or decarboxylated cannabis infusion is optionally added to the purée. Next, the purée is poured into a tube shaped plastic container. Next, the container is frozen to obtain a packaged frozen ice pop of cannabis juice purée. The cannabis ice pop is provided singularly or in a package having additional cannabis ice pops. A dispensary can store the ice pops until distribution. The package includes labeling describing amounts and types of cannabinoids in the cannabis ice pops. In one example, the cannabis ice pop is non-psychoactive and includes no decarboxylated cannabinoids. In another example, the cannabis ice pop includes decarboxylated cannabinoids.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2018Date of Patent: November 23, 2021Inventor: Jeff Nordahl

Patent number: 11172698Abstract: Pasteurized juice products formed from raw cannabis are provided. First, a cannabis juice purée having a particular cannabinoid profile is formed. Next, the cannabis juice purée is pasteurized without decarboxylating any cannabinoids in the cannabis juice purée thereby obtaining a pasteurized cannabis juice purée. In one example, the pasteurizing is performed using flash pasteurization, such as a High Temperature Short Time (HTST) pasteurization process. The flash pasteurization process neutralizes pathogens such as bacteria and parasites. Next, the pasteurized cannabis juice purée is packaged into a container thereby obtaining a packaged pasteurized cannabis juice purée. The container is a food-grade bottled juice container, an ice pop container, or a juice cube container. The packaged pasteurized cannabis juice purée contains only non-decarboxylated cannabinoids. In other embodiments, additional cannabinoids are added before or after the HTST pasteurization process.Type: GrantFiled: October 18, 2018Date of Patent: November 16, 2021Inventor: Jeff Nordahl
