  • Publication number: 20240094038
Abstract: A no emission tank gauge has a housing having a valve connection extending from a bottom side of the housing, a gauge line within the housing, the gauge line having a plumb bob attached at a free end, a pulley attached within the housing and supporting the gauge line, the pulley configured to allow extension and retraction of the gauge line, and an actuator connected to the pulley and extending exterior to the housing and configured to actuate the extension and retraction of the gauge line via rotation of the pulley. The housing has a window in a wall of the housing facing a marked side of the gauge line. The valve connection has an opening sized to allow for passage of the plumb bob and the gauge line. The housing is sealed when the valve connection is connected to a valve to prevent escape of fluid.

  • Publication number: 20210061552
Abstract: A storage tank isolation system for a storage tank includes a vertical riser attached to a top of the storage tank and having a cover with an aperture and a connecting member extending from a side of the vertical riser. A distal end of the connecting member is parallel to the top of the storage tank and attached to a storage hatch. The storage tank isolation system includes a valve assembly, which includes a stem extending through the aperture in the cover, a valve plate attached to the stem, and a valve seat sealed to the vertical riser at a position below a connection to the connecting member. The valve plate is moves with the stem from an open position in which the valve plate is held within the vertical riser at a position equal to or above the connection to the connecting member and a closed position.

  • Patent number: 9802740
Abstract: A replaceable liner is for use with a storage tank hatch having a rim adapted to engage with a gasket within a cover and a neck extending vertically downward from the rim to define an aperture that provides access to an inside of the storage tank. The replaceable liner has a body having a rim-facing surface having a vertical cross sectional shape that conforms to a vertical cross sectional shape of the rim and a horizontal cross sectional shape that conforms to a perimeter of the rim, and a gasket facing surface opposite the rim facing surface. Sealant is provided along the rim facing surface of the body, the rim facing surface of the body adapted to engage the rim in a vapor-tight seal, and the gasket facing surface adapted to engage the gasket in a vapor-tight seal.
