  • Patent number: 8743206
Abstract: A beam combiner is configured to generate a combined image by combining a first image and a second image, and transmit the combined image to a user. One or more light pipes are coupled to the beam combiner from one or more indicator lights. Each light pipe is configured to receive light from a respective indicator light and transmit the light from the respective indicator light to the beam combiner, which is then seen by the user.

  • Patent number: 8346581
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable storage mediums for presenting project information are disclosed. Project information may be presented by receiving electronic planning information associated with a project, where the received electronic planning information includes at least one milestone associated with two or more phases of the project and occurring during the two or more phases. The received electronic planning information is then transformed into a graphical representation of the received electronic planning information for visual presentation to a user and presented for perception by the user. The presented graphical representation includes two or more bars corresponding to the two or more phases and a connection between the two or more bars corresponding to a time at which the milestone occurs.

  • Publication number: 20120050538
Abstract: A beam combiner assembly for a night vision device is disclosed. The beam combiner assembly is for use with a night vision device. The beam combiner assembly includes a beam combiner and one or more light pipes. The beam combiner is configured to generate a combined image by combining a first image and a second image. The beam combiner is further configured to transmit the combined image to a user. The one or more light pipes are coupled to the beam combiner in positions corresponding to one or more indicator lights. Each light pipe is configured to receive light from a respective indicator light. Each light pipe is further configured to transmit the light from the respective indicator light to the beam combiner. The beam combiner assembly may be provided in a night vision device including a first image source, a second image source, a microdisplay, and a display connector.

  • Patent number: 8063904
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable storage mediums for presenting project information are disclosed. Project information may be presented by receiving electronic planning information associated with a project, the planning information including project resource data, transforming the received electronic planning information into a graphical representation of the received electronic planning information for visual presentation to a user and presenting the graphical representation of the received planning information for perception by the user, the presented graphical representation including one or more lines that varies in width symmetrically over time based on the project resource data.

  • Patent number: 7910839
Abstract: An electro-conductive contact structure for sealing the interior of an enclosure from interference includes first and second electro-conductive contact surfaces. In one embodiment, the first electro-conductive contact surface includes a plurality of projections, and the second electro-conductive contact surface includes a plurality of slots. The projections are configured for insertion into the slots to form an electro-conductive interface between the first and second portions of the enclosure. In another embodiment, the electro-conductive contact structures are formed on first and second housing parts, respectively. In another embodiment, the electro-conductive contact surfaces each include a series of fingers and a plurality of pockets between the fingers.

  • Publication number: 20090135317
Abstract: A display unit includes an LCD which receives an array of pixel data for displaying an image at a first dynamic range. A projector projects colored light of the image at a second dynamic range. The LCD combines the array of pixel data with the colored light to display the image at a third dynamic range. The third dynamic range is greater than the first or second dynamic range.

  • Publication number: 20080151139
Abstract: A display unit includes an LCD panel for providing an output image to a viewer. An APD panel is disposed behind the LCD panel for providing a backlit image to the LCD panel. The LCD panel and the APD panel are vertically stacked one behind the other with an air gap between the APD panel and the LCD panel. The APD panel is configured to provide the backlit image as a first luminance modulated light to the LCD panel, and the LCD panel is configured to provide a second luminance modulated light to the viewer. The combination of the first luminance modulation and the second luminance modulation increases the dynamic range of the display unit. The LCD panel and the APD panel have their respective output images synchronized to each other.
