Patent number: 7765919Abstract: A substantially flat, heat-resistant baking sheet has a baking surface, a rolled periphery and a baking area within that periphery. The baking area has numerous through-holes. A generally upright wall, integrally formed with the sheet, extends along the first part of the periphery, defining an upper edge. The height of the wall varies from a maximum to a minimum predetermined height, and the wall substantially encloses the baking area along the first part of the periphery. In the example shown, the baking sheet is rectangular: the wall extends along three sides and the fourth side has no wall. A baked product can be slid or pushed off this fourth side without being lifted, the side serving as a slide-off chute or ramp. Condensation between the baking sheet and the baked product evacuates through the holes to allow the surface against the sheet to bake to a crisper consistency.Type: GrantFiled: March 16, 2005Date of Patent: August 3, 2010Assignee: Lifetime Brands, Inc.Inventors: Jeff Siegel, Adam Krent, David Linn Burnett, William J. Patent number: 7011014Abstract: A cookie baking sheet is formed of substantially flat heat-resistant material including a baking surface in a first plane and defining a rolled peripheral edge and a baking area within the peripheral edge. A generally upright wall is integrally formed with the sheet material and extends along only a first portion of the periphery. This wall defines an upper edge contained within a second plane that is inclined relative to and meeting the first plane substantially along a second portion of the periphery. The upright wall is provided with a variable vertical height from a maximum predetermined height to a minimum predetermined height relative to said first plane. This variable height wall substantially encloses the baking area along the first portion of the peripheral edge. In the disclosed embodiment the baking sheet is rectangular and the upright wall extends along three of the sides while the fourth side is not founded by a wall.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2004Date of Patent: March 14, 2006Inventors: Jeff Siegel, Adam Krent, David Linn Burnett, William J. Publication number: 20050000368Abstract: A smokeless grill assembly or kit includes a grill stand supporting a grill pan. A grill support spans said grill pan and supports a grill top above a burner unit supported in the grill stand. A handle extends from the burner unit and allows easy removal and replacement and the ability to manipulate at least one combustion regulation mechanism. A diverting mechanism diverts dripping oil from an inner heated region of the grill top to a peripheral region reducing an oil temperature below a smoke point.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 28, 2004Publication date: January 6, 2005Inventors: Jeff Siegel, Adam Krent

Publication number: 20040231087Abstract: A spatula includes a handle generally defining a spatula axis. The spatula has one end extending from the handle along the axis while a generally flat spatula blade is connected to the other hand of the shank. The spatula blade has two opposing edges at least one of which is a scrapping edge is substantially parallel to the spatula axis. The spatula blade defines a plane of substantial symmetry co-extensive with the spatula axis and extends through the two opposing edges. At least one of the scrapping edges includes a plurality of flexible longitudinal scrapping flaps displaces from each other relative to the plane of symmetry.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 22, 2003Publication date: November 25, 2004Inventors: Jeff Siegel, Adam Krent, David Linn Burnett, William J. Lazaroff, Alison Waite Lincoln

Publication number: 20040232712Abstract: A spatula turner has a handle defining a spatula axis and a shank extending from the handle. A generally flat spatula blade is connected to the shank and has at least two opposing curved scrapping edges that bow outwardly or are convex and are substantially parallel to the spatula axis. The spatula blade defines a plane of substantial symmetry co-extensive with the spatula axis and extends through the scrapping edges. The blade defines two regions, one region more approximate to the handle and one region more remote from the handle, the more remote region having a thickness in relation to the plane of symmetry that is less than the thickness of the more proximate region and is preferably provided with a chamfered edge to render the more remote region more flexible and suitable for introduction under the food product on a surface of a pan on which it is being prepared.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 22, 2003Publication date: November 25, 2004Inventors: Jeff Siegel, Adam Krent, David Linn Burnett, William J. Publication number: 20040040160Abstract: A food handling utensil is comprised of a handle configured to be gripped by the hand of a user. The food-contacting part is connected to the handle by an elongate neck portion. The food-contacting part is formed of a non-rigid heat-resistant material that resists being damaged when placed in contact with a surface of a receptacle exposed to a direct flame and containing food being prepared. Reinforcement means encapsulated within selected portions of the food-contacting part to enhance stiffness in selected portions of the utensil while the remaining portions of the food-contacting part continue to exhibit the flexibility of the heat-resistant material.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 27, 2002Publication date: March 4, 2004Inventors: Milton L. Cohen, Jeff Siegel, Adam Krent

Patent number: 6698336Abstract: A baking dish includes a generally shallow platter made of ceramic material suitable to withstand a baking environment and having a baking surface defining a supporting plane on which a baked product can be made. A substantially upright continuous wall in the form of a ring generally conforming to the shape of the baking surface is provided that has a height dimension when supported on the baking surfaces relative to the supporting plane to define a generally cylindrical space for receiving and containing a food product to be baked. The platter and ring have substantially conforming peripheries. A laterally extending bead or a protuberance extends about the periphery of the platter and a deformable engaging member in the form a peripheral lip is provided about the periphery of the ring for removably attaching the ring to the platter about the periphery and for providing a generally sealed connection at the mating surfaces of the platter and wall of the ring.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 2003Date of Patent: March 2, 2004Assignee: Lifetime Hoan CorporationInventors: Jeff Siegel, Adam Krent, David Linn Burnett, William J.
