Abstract: Disclosed is a process for making diastereomeric compound of the formula (I): wherein m, n and R1 to R4 are as defined herein. The process of the invention provides the compound of formula (I) in high yield and substantially free of the corresponding diastereomers. The compounds of formula (I) prepared by the process of the invention are useful for making pharmaceutically active compounds such as 11-?-hydroxysteroid hydrogenase type 1 (11-?-HSD1) inhibitors.

Abstract: A method for detecting light-emitting diodes using digital images to check whether each light-emitting diode in a to-be-detected computer is normal or not, the method includes shooting a default image for at least one light-emitting diodes in a default computer; selecting one diode as a first initial light source; obtaining default location information according to the locations of the contiguous light-emitting diodes relative to the first initial light source; similarly obtaining light signal information according to the locations of the light-emitting diodes relative to a second initial light source which corresponds to the first initial light source, and comparing the light signal location information with the default location information to judge whether the light-emitting diodes are in normal work.

Abstract: A device and a method for testing SAS channels which are applied to a plurality of pairs of SAS interfaces. The testing device includes a control terminal, a PCI-E microprocessor, a PCI-E-to-SAS adaptor, and a signal feedback module. The control terminal is used for selecting SAS channels and sending a control command; the PCI-E microprocessor is used for receiving the control command and sending a test signal to a PCI-E channel according to the control command; the PCI-E-to-SAS adaptor is used for converting a transmission signal between the PCI-E channel and the SAS channels; and the signal feedback module is used for connecting a first SAS interface to a second SAS interface in the SAS back plate. The PCI-E microprocessor compares whether the test signal sent to the first SAS channel is consistent with the test signal received from the second SAS interface.

A computer compiles configuration information according to corresponding connection relations between the chips and the micro controller units, and transmits the configuration information, burning command and burning data to a master micro controller unit of the micro controller units. The master micro controller unit distributes the burning data to slave micro controller units of the micro controller units based on the analyzed configuration information, and controls each slave micro controller unit to activate its burning operation. Then, the slave micro controller units burn the burning data onto the chips connected thereto, and transmit the burning results back to the master micro controller unit after completion of the burning operations. Finally, the master micro controller unit transmits the burning results back to the computer after completion of all the burning operations.

The hot-plug bridge interface has a hot-plug function. The first adaptor is connected to the hot-plug bridge interface and the SAS back plate. The second adaptor is connected between the SAS back plate and a terminal unit. The control terminal sends the test signal and detects a signal under test sent back from the terminal unit, and compares whether they are consistent with each other or not. In this way, the control terminal determines whether the SAS interfaces in the SAS back plate run normally or not.

The accessory receives the test signal and then responds to the test signal to output a feedback signal. The feedback signal is received by the signal conversion unit and transmitted to the MPU, such that the MPU determines if the accessory operates normally according to the feedback signal. Conventional testing methods are Therefore, it is achieved that the effects of reducing the inspection time and improving the production efficiency.

Abstract: A system and method for parallel burning using multiplex technology is used for burning chips of different bus types on the same transmission bus at the same time in parallel. A main control unit divides bandwidth of the transmission bus into different frequency bands, sends a control command including a command for sending data carrying bus signals of designated types, and controls data carrying the bus signals of the designated types to be transmitted in designated frequency bands of the transmission bus. Then, a sending unit sends the data carrying the bus signals of the designated types in the designated frequency band. Finally, receiving units receive the data transmitted in the designated frequency bands, and then output them to a plurality of burners such as to burn the data onto the chips of the designated bus types in parallel.

Abstract: A test system and method utilizing a single storage device through a network, which includes a server and at least a test object connected to a storage device that supports multi-system operations. The storage device provides many kinds of test environments and test tools for different test objects. The storage device includes a test program, a plurality of virtual test sections and test tools. When a correspondent virtual test section does not exist in the storage device, the associated test disk image is obtained from the server for establishing a new virtual test section in the storage device. Through the network operation, the test environment management is simplified and the test efficiency is improved.

Therefore, only a set of client data and sales information needs to be maintained to provide sales and purchase information for a plurality of different suppliers and retailers.

Abstract: A warehouse management system is applied under a network environment to integrate warehouses of suppliers and retailers in the network environment and provide an information communication channel between the suppliers and retailers. The warehouse management system includes a logic management module for allowing the suppliers and retailers to enter information; a data storage module for storing the information; an information management module for synchronously updating the information to the data storage module; and an information display module for synchronously displaying the information on data processing devices. By the warehouse management system, integration of warehouse management can be achieved, such that management efficiency and economic benefits are enhanced.

Abstract: A multithread auto test method is disclosed for the test process of computer hardware. According to the exclusion relation among the unique IDs of the test items, a multithread executable logic is automatically generated. An appropriate parallel method is employed to find procedures for test items that do not have conflictions. Therefore, multithreads of test procedures are performed to increase the test efficiency and quality. The method includes the steps of: determining a unique ID of a test item; automatically generating a test logic table according to the exclusion relation among the unique IDs; and performing multithread test procedure according to the test logic given in the test logic table.

It is comprised of a database to store data needed for stock management and to link each of the following modules to perform stock management using the graphic interface. The modules include a stock allocation designing module, which helps a user decide the size of a stock, storage areas, storage space and relevant attributes according to practical needs; a data receiving module, which receives the data of the stock, the storage areas, the storage space and a plurality of goods; a stock layout generating module, which plots a stock layout according to the data received by the data receiving module; a stock operating module, which displays messages corresponding to the operations the user has performed on the stock layout; and a data storage module, which saves the results of the operations performed on the stock layout by the user in the database.

Abstract: A system for generating a purchase suggestion list is proposed, comprising: a supplier enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that regularly inputs data of past orders from each of its retail customers into the order database, a retailer computer system regularly that inputs the quantity of each inventory into the inventory database, a data input module for manually inputting the safety margin and purchasing time period, a data storage module to read the order and inventory information, a calculating module for calculating the suggested quantity of each product for purchase, which is also manually adjustable by the inventory management staff, to create a purchase suggesting list, and a data transfer module that transfers this purchase suggestion list to the retailer to make final modifications or grant approval so that a final order can be made under the mutual agreement based on the suggestion purchase list. The present invention also proposes a method for generating a purchase suggestion list.
