    Abstract: Amino-formaldehyde resins and methods for making amino-formaldehyde resins are provided herein. In one embodiment, the amino-formaldehyde resins are blends of at least a first amino-formaldehyde resin having a first molar ratio of constituents and at least a second amino-formaldehyde resin having a second molar ratio of constituents different than the first molar ratio of constituents. The first amino-formaldehyde resin may be a melamine-urea-formaldehyde resin. The second amino-formaldehyde resin may be a urea-formaldehyde resin, which may optionally include melamine. The blend of the amino-formaldehyde resins may be used in the manufacture of articles, such as composite boards.
