Abstract: A system and method of matching individuals based upon the divorce rates of their countries of origin. The present invention is an online dating system adapted to allow individuals from countries having a high divorce rate to meet individuals from countries having a lower divorce rate, thereby assisting individuals from the higher divorce rate countries in finding partners that are more likely to produce sustained, long-lasting partnerships. Divorce rates vary greatly from country to country due to a variety of cultural factors, which often makes individuals from a high divorce rate country a poor match for each other in terms of the likelihood that their marriage or relationship will last for an extended period of time because they are subject to the same cultural factors that encourage a high divorce rate.
