  • Patent number: 12279028
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to devices and methods for synchronizing capturing of spectral images with the capturing of thermal images. A thermal imaging device of an aerial vehicle captures a sequence of thermal image of thermal images. Capturing of spectral images by a spectral imaging device of the aerial vehicle is synchronized with the capturing of the thermal images. Irradiance data indicative of a background temperature is sensed. A digital surface model of an area of interest is generated based on the sequence of spectral images. An emissivity of a target is estimated and a temperature of a pixel of the digital surface model of the target is estimated based on the sequence of thermal images, the irradiance data indicative of the background temperature and the estimated emissivity of the target.

  • Publication number: 20250102624
Abstract: A method for phase-conjugate target emulation for testing a DSB FMCW radar includes selecting a proxy transponder from an array of frequency-shifting transponders to transmit an emulated target radar signal to a radar DUT. The proxy transponder is located at a mirror image location with respect to a desired DoA of a signal from an emulated radar target. The method further includes receiving a radar signal from the radar DUT and generating an output signal to be transmitted by the proxy transponder to the radar DUT by swapping roles of a normal sideband component and a ghost sideband component of the output signal such that the ghost sideband component appears to the radar DUT as a desired emulant and the normal sideband component appears to the radar DUT an undesired ghost sideband component. The method further includes transmitting the output signal to the radar DUT.

  • Patent number: 12259249
Abstract: A system described herein may provide a technique for selectively adding or forgoing adding shortcut links to a node map using contraction hierarchy techniques based on turn costs. “Useful” turn pairs for a given path through a shortcut link may include a turn into a first node of the shortcut link and a turn out of a second node of the shortcut link, where no alternative lower cost paths (including such “useful” turn pairs) from the first node to the second node are available. The useful turn pairs for a shortcut link may be used to evaluate super shortcut links that includes the shortcut link with identified useful turn pairs. For example, a search for alternative lower cost paths may need not be performed for paths, associated with the super shortcut link, which do not include a turn from the useful turn pairs of the component shortcut link.
