    Abstract: A rapid coupling device for a hydrogen storage canister. The rapid coupling device communicates the hydrogen storage canister and a fuel cell. The hydrogen storage canister includes a connecting assembly. The rapid coupling device includes a base and a communicating member. The communicating member communicates with the fuel cell, and is connected to the base. When the hydrogen storage canister is coupled to the fuel cell via the connecting assembly, the communicating member is abutted by the connecting assembly so that hydrogen in the hydrogen storage canister flows to the fuel cell through the connecting assembly and the communicating member.

    Abstract: A heating device for a container in which a hydrogen storage canister is disposed. The hydrogen storage canister supplies hydrogen to a fuel cell including a discharge port, and the heating device includes a water jacket and a seal member. The water jacket is disposed on the container, and communicates with the discharge port of the fuel cell. When the hydrogen storage canister is disposed on the container, the hydrogen storage canister is surrounded by the water jacket and is heated by via water from the discharge exit. The seal member is disposed between the water jacket and the container so that the hydrogen storage canister is closely abutted by the water jacket.

    Abstract: A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell stack, an air supply system including a blower for driving the air to the fuel cell stack and an air humidifier for humidifying the air supplied to the fuel cell stack, a hydrogen supply system including a hydrogen storage and a pressure regulating device, and a hydrogen recirculator for receiving excessive hydrogen from the fuel cell stack and forcing the hydrogen back into the fuel cell stack in order to induce a hydrogen flow inside the fuel cell stack, a coolant circulation system supplying low temperature coolant to the fuel cell stack for absorbing heat from the fuel cell stack and including a coolant reservoir in which the coolant is stored, a pump driving the circulation of the coolant, a radiator for removing heat from the high temperature coolant and converting the high temperature coolant into the low temperature coolant. The coolant reservoir includes a ventilation device for removing air bubbles from the coolant.

    Abstract: This invention is related to a bipolar plate for a fuel cell, the bipolar plate comprises a plurality of groove type gas channels substantially parallel with one another, each of the gas channels has a cross section area defined by the walls thereof and an opening, each of the openings is provided with a reducing device to reduce the cross section area in the vicinity of the opening. This invention thus can increase the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the gas channels. Therefore, the gas channels of the bipolar plate will not be clogged by water droplets and the fuel cell can be operated with high efficiency.

    Abstract: This invention is related to an enhanced heat conductive device for supply device of hydrogen source of a fuel cell. The supply device comprises: at least one pressurized bottled filled with metal hydride and having an outer diameter. The enhanced heat conductive device comprises: a metal shell configured to an elongated, cylindrical column having an inner diameter, and at least one expandable rib, longitudinally extended along a length direction of and integrally formed with the metal shell. The outer diameter of the pressurized bottle is slightly greater than the inner diameter of the metal shell, such that when the pressurized bottle is inserted through the metal shell, the pressurized bottle will force expansion of the rib resulting in close contact between the metal shell and the pressurized bottle. This invention further discloses supply device of hydrogen source having such an enhanced heat conductive device.

    Abstract: This invention is related to a bipolar plate for a fuel cell, the bipolar plate comprises a central area and a surrounding area, wherein the central area has a first side surface and a second side surface opposed to the first side surface, the central area is in a form of continuous corrugation which defines a plurality of grooves that are substantially parallel with and complementary to each other on each of the first side surface and the second side surface. The thickness of the bipolar plate of this invention can be very thin so as to decrease the dimension and weight of the fuel cell. The cost for manufacturing the fuel cell is also reduced by the simplified process of this invention.
