  • Publication number: 20230068776
Abstract: A weight distribution hitch system comprising a vehicle attachment member comprising a forward end configured to rigidly attach to a vehicle, and a rearward end extending rearwardly toward a trailer, the rearward end comprising an upper portion comprising a trailer attachment member configured to pivotally attach to a coupler of the trailer, and a lower portion configured to receive a moment bar; a moment bar comprising a moment bar forward end attached to the lower portion of the rearward end of the vehicle attachment member so as to prevent rotation about a horizontal axis, and a moment bar rearward end; a tension member comprising a top end configured to be supported by a frame member of the trailer, and a bottom end configured to support the rearward end of the moment bar, and a spring, configured to bias the moment bar rearward end toward the frame member of the trailer; and wherein, when the tension member is in tension, it imposes an upward force on the moment bar rearward end, which, in turn, imposes

  • Patent number: 11564666
Abstract: A toilet is disclosed. The toilet has a bowl adapted to receive feces, a shelf for receiving feces in the bowl, a mechanism that places a consumable material on the shelf between uses of the toilet, and a removal mechanism for removing the feces and the consumable material from the bowl. The consumable material on the shelf is to separate feces from the shelf.

  • Publication number: 20210325389
Abstract: A system for obtaining clearance comprises a mechanism to identify the user and generate an identification signal; an analytical toilet comprising a bowl to receive excreta from the user; an analyzer configured to analyze the sample to detect one or more antibodies in a sample of the excreta or sputum and to generate an analysis signal; a processor configured to receive the identification signal and the analysis signal; determine therefrom the status of the user with respect to the one or more antibodies; and transmit a report to an authority, the report comprising the identity and the status of the user with respect to the antibodies detected.

  • Publication number: 20210301322
Abstract: The invention is an analytical toilet and a method. The toilet, includes a bowl adapted to receive urine. A passage is provided for transferring a sample of the urine to a detection system. The detection system is configured to receive the sample and detect a virus. When the sample is brought into contact with the detection system, the detection system indicates the presence of a virus by generating a distinct signal. Preferably, the detection system makes use of a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT), such as a quantitative PCR instrument. The method makes use of the analytical toilet and is designed to detect the presence or absence of targeted genetic material, preferably genetic material from a virus, such as SARS-CoV-2.

  • Publication number: 20210290205
Abstract: An analytical toilet is disclosed. The analytical toilet includes a bowl adapted to receive excreta and a detection system to detect a virus, such as a coronavirus. The analytical toilet presents a sample extracted from feces to the detection system and the detection system creates a signal indicating whether or not a coronavirus is present in the sample. Preferably, the detection system comprises a quantitative PCR instrument and a fluorimeter.

  • Publication number: 20130333704
Abstract: The present invention, WristOx, is designed as a means of providing a user with means of extracting multiple breaths in situations that do not allow for the use of a traditional SCUBA configuration. The interchangeable compressed air cylinders allow for the user to exchange spent cylinders for full cylinders on the fly. Designed to be worn unobtrusively on the arm, the present invention foregoes the need for hoses or a second stage regulator, allowing for use in activities such as kayaking, spelunking, or even as an additional line of defense for divers and fire rescue personnel.
