  • Publication number: 20230408026
Abstract: A hanger that has a C-shaped body and two ends capped with ball-like structures. The hanger is constructed of a resilient material so that when the ends are forced apart, a spacing therebetween increases, and when released, the ends move together. In use, the C-shaped hanger is spread apart and applied to a ceiling beam, and is then released so that the ball ends firmly clamp to the opposing sides of the beam. Items can be suspended from the body of the C-shaped hanger and displayed at an elevated position for all in the vicinity to view the item.

  • Publication number: 20230200306
Abstract: A topiary arrangement with foliage tiers having stems that are telescopic with respect to each other in order to achieve desired spacings between the foliage tiers. Each foliage tier includes a spherical foliage bundle with a tubular stem extending downwardly therefrom. Successive tiers of the foliage tiers have tubular stems that are somewhat different in diameters so that the stems are telescopic with respect to neighbor stems. A respective O-ring is stretched around the foliage stem to function as an adjustment mechanism to space the tiers from each other a desired distance. When one tubing stem is inserted into an underlying tubing stem, the O-ring on the upper tubing stem can be adjusted thereon so that the tubular stem telescopes downwardly only a desired distance within the underlying tubing stem, thus making the foliage tiers individually adjustable as to spacing therebetween.

  • Patent number: 11439254
Abstract: A tiered ornament tree having one or more tiers of hook members from which ornaments are displayed. Each tier includes a castellated collar with slots formed in a top edge thereof, and plural hook members with inner ends inserted in each slot of the castellated collar. The collar and associated hook members of a tier are captured between threaded ends of threaded rods. The bottom end of the ornament tree is fastened to a base, and a top end of the ornament tree is equipped with a finial.

  • Publication number: 20220082124
Abstract: A tie-down stake for anchoring objects to the ground. The tie-down stake is constructed with an eye lag screw and with a flat washer welded below the eye of the lag screw. The flat washer functions as a stop. A swivel arm has a hoop through which the threaded shaft of the eye lag screw is inserted. The swivel arm has a portion that extends laterally outwardly and a terminal end that extends downwardly. When the eye lag screw is screwed into the ground, a tether cord of the object can be engaged around the swivel arm, and when the terminal end of the arm is embedded in the ground, the tether cord is captured between the swivel arm and the ground.

  • Patent number: 11076534
Abstract: An adjustable over-the-door hanger for suspending an item at a desired vertical location with respect to the door. A fixed hanger part includes a hanger for engaging over an upper edge of the door. The fixed hanger part has plural rows of holes and plural columns of holes and plural hook members. An adjustable hook part of the over-the-door hanger has a hook for hanging a decorative item therefrom. The adjustable hook part further includes plural rows and plural columns of holes and plural hook members. The fixed hanger part and the adjustable hook part are engaged together by engaging the hook members of the fixed hanger part extension strip with the holes of the adjustable hook part extension strip, and vice versa. The vertical adjustment of both the hook and thus the decorative item is obtained by selecting which holes in a row are to be used for insertion of the respective hook members. A stopper can be employed to maintain the parts engaged together.

  • Patent number: 10746187
Abstract: An arrangement for attaching an object to a fan blade so that the orientation of the object can be adjusted to achieve a desired orientation while the fan blade is rotated by the fan. The object is attached to the bottom end of an invisible filament. The top end of the invisible filament is attached to an enlargement, such as a button. The button is captured between the fan blade and an elastic band that encircles the fan blade. The button can be manually rotated to thereby rotate the invisible filament and the object so that the object is oriented in the desired manner when rotated by the fan. The object can be of the type that flies with a natural orientation, such as a bird, airplane, space ship, etc.

  • Patent number: 10736273
Abstract: A magnetic hanger attachable to a magnet attracting surface for hanging an item therefrom. The magnetic hanger includes a frame to which one or more magnets are attached. The frame includes a hook for hanging the item therefrom. A back of the magnetic hanger is magnetically attracted to the magnet attracting surface. The peripheral edge of the hanger includes a rim formed around the frame. The rim is spaced from the back of the frame so that when the magnetic hanger is being attached to the magnet attracting surface, there is a space around the rim to partially insert the user's finger tips so that they are not pinched when the magnet(s) are pulled toward the magnet attracting surface. The spaced rim also facilitates the removal of the magnetic hanger from the magnet attracting surface. The frame can be formed with a channel therearound to provide strength so that the frame does not flex during removal of the magnetic hanger from the magnet attracting surface.

  • Patent number: 10477776
Abstract: An over-the-door hanger for clamping to a top of a door. Opposing wings are spring biased to a base plate. The base plate is located adjacent the outside surface of the door, and includes a hook hanging downwardly from the base plate. The wings span the top edge of the door and have downturned ends. During installation, the downturned ends of each wing are moved against the spring tension so as to be lowered over the top edge of the door in an orientation where the base plate is located on the outside of the door and the downturned ends are located on the inside of the door. The hanger is thus clamped to the top of the door under the spring tension.

  • Patent number: 10364068
Abstract: A pop-up mechanism for use with a bag so that when operated by a user, a decorative object pops up from a hidden position within the bag to a position clearly in view. A twistable circular band is held within a sleeve at the top of the bag. The band has attached thereto at least one finger tab, and a pivotal post having an end to which the decorative object is attached. When the finger tab is operated, the band twists and thereby pivots the post and the decorative object from the hidden position to the viewable position.

  • Patent number: 9247785
Abstract: A flexible hanger loop adjustably attached to an item for causing the item to be suspended with a desired orientation when hung from a hanger by the flexible loop. The item is constructed with a hole therein through which a portion of the flexible loop extends. An enlarged end of the loop prevents it from being inadvertently pulled back through the hole. In order to adjust the orientation of the item when hung by the loop from a hanger, the portion of the loop extending through the hole is twisted or rotated, whereby the item assumes a new natural orientation.

  • Patent number: 9188152
Abstract: An ornamental hanger having a scroll shape with an upper open loop that is sufficiently large to accommodate an edge of a mantle therein. The hanger includes a lower open loop from which an item can be hung so that the lower open loop can swing under the edge of the mantle and be located generally under the upper open loop. The upper open loop terminates in a partial loop having a bottom curved surface for resting on the mantle. The lower curved portion of the partial loop is covered with a non-slip material to prevent movement of the hanger on the mantel surface.

  • Patent number: 9062815
Abstract: A loop adjuster having two parts that are rotatable with respect to each other. Each of the two parts has a slot therein that can be aligned to insert a loop of material therein. The two parts of the loop adjuster can then be rotated with respect to each other to impart a twist in the loop of material. The two parts of the loop adjuster are hollow so that the twisted part of the loop of material is located in the hollow part of the loop adjuster. The two slotted parts of the loop adjuster can be fabricated as hollow hemispheres that are snap locked together at an equator.

  • Patent number: 8904700
Abstract: A fishing lure having a material that is magnetically attracted to a magnet slid down a fishing line connected to the lure. A movable hook shaft housed within the lure is spring loaded to a position where a free end thereof is captured within the lure and a hook attached to the hook shaft cannot be removed from the free end. When the magnet is slid down the fishing line and magnetically influences the magnetic material, the hook shaft is moved to a position where the free end thereof is exposed and the hook can be removed therefrom.
