Abstract: Techniques for a hub node to, provisioned in a network site of a hub and spoke overlay network, to receive a network advertisement from the spoke, decode network routing requirements from a border gateway protocol (BGP) large community associated with the network advertisement, and store the network routing requirements in association with a route associated with the spoke. The routing requirements may indicate one or more service(s) to be applied to the packet, a trust level associated with the spoke, and/or a trust zone associated with the spoke. The hub node may receive a packet from the spoke to be transmitted to destination spoke. The hub node may then route the packet to the destination spoke, drop the packet, or send the packet to a service node configured to apply the one or more services to the packet based on the routing requirements.

Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for performing domain name system (DNS) support on public resolvers. For instance, an electronic device may send a query to a local DNS resolver. The electronic device may then receive an answer from the local DNS resolver that includes a pattern. Using the answer, the electronic device may generate a DNS packet that includes at least the answer and a query for a first Internet Protocol (IP) address associated with a first IP version, such as IPv6. The electronic device may then send the DNS packet to a public DNS resolver. Using the DNS packet, the public DNS resolver may generate a synthesized IP address associated with the first IP version. For example, the public DNS resolver may identify a second IP address associated with a second IP version, such as IPv4, and generate the synthesized IP address using the second IP address and the answer.

Abstract: A system has a set of servers utilizing different operating systems to constitute a cross-platform system. A central management server has a set of objects characterizing the set of servers. The set of objects have relationship edges to related objects. A server intelligence agent coordinates the start-up of the central management server and the set of servers and coordinates the control of state changes within the set of servers.

Abstract: A computer readable storage medium includes executable instructions to accept a set of document objects, wherein each document object is associated with a z-order. A document object in the set of document objects is passed to a pre-rendering region comprising a stack of one or more panes, wherein the document object is added in z-order. The document object is checked against each pane in the stack for document object overlap, beginning with a topmost pane, until a pane selected from one of a bottommost pane and an overlap pane is reached. The document object is associated with a pane selected from one of the bottommost pane and a pane above the overlap pane. The pane above the overlap pane is selected from one of a pane in the stack and a new pane added to the top of the stack.
