Abstract: A mobile weighing apparatus in the form of a wheeled support structure (e.g., a wheelchair, wheeled bed, gurney, cart, motorized truck, etc.) that is especially adapted to weighing a human being supported by said apparatus. The apparatus employs a plurality of load cells that are respectively attached to a plurality of vertical support elements of said apparatus. Signals from each load cell are routed to a microprocessor which processes the signals and displays the weight carried on the apparatus.
