    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a system, a method, and an apparatus to selectively control brightness of information displayed on a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). A graphics layer can be provided in a display area of the LCD, and a semi-transparent mask layer can be provided above the graphics layer. An information graphics layer can be provided above the semi-transparent mask layer. The information graphics layer can be controlled to selectively display predetermined information on the LCD at an intended brightness, while remaining information from the underlying graphics layer can be dimmed relative to the brightness of the display predetermined information by activation of the semi-transparent mask layer.

The system may comprise a lighting system including a plurality of light groups disposed on a Machine, each light group including one or more lights, a graphical user interface, and a controller. The controller may be configured to cause the graphical user interface to display a machine icon and a plurality of light icons. Each light icon may be in the shape of a light and corresponding to one of the light groups. Each light icon may be displayed proximal to the machine icon in a position generally indicative of a location on the Machine of the light group that corresponds to the light icon. In an embodiment, a light beam may be displayed generally adjacent to the first light icon to show a direction of light when the corresponding light group on the Machine is illuminated.

The roll display includes a roll reference element and a roll indicator configured to pivot about a reference point to indicate a roll of the remotely operated machine. Further, the pitch display and the roll display include a pitch text field and a roll text filed to display a numeric value of the pitch and roll respectively. Also, the pitch indicator and the roll indicator can be configured to change to a first color and a second color based on a degree of movement or pivot.

A display screen of the operator interface has a machine performance information display section and a message display section disposed in offset relationship thereto. The controller is adapted to assemble a pop-up message from the data in the data storage device in response to receiving a signal indicative of a machine condition and to provide the pop-up message to the operator interface for display in the message display section of the display screen. The controller is adapted to remove the pop-up message from the display screen for a period of time in response to receiving a hide signal from the operator interface and to re-display the pop-up message in the message display section of the display screen after the period of time has elapsed if the machine condition still exists.

    Abstract: An agricultural tractor includes a cab frame having structural support post. The tractor also includes a hinge member having a first end portion which is pivotally coupled to the structural support post of the cab frame, and a second end portion which is opposite the first end portion. The tractor further includes a support arm secured to the second end portion of the hinge member in a substantially horizontal orientation. The support arm has a mounting boss secured thereto. The tractor further includes a window panel having a mounting aperture defined therein. The tractor further includes a fastener that is received through the mounting aperture so as to engage the mounting boss thereby securing the window panel to the support arm. Such a configuration allows for replacement of the window panel in the event of breakage thereof without the need to remove the hinge member from the structural support of the cab.

The present invention comprehends a modular control handle having a grip assembly that is adaptable to accommodate one of a plurality of different control modules mountable therein. The control modules may be varied to accommodate various machine operations but the size and shape of the grip assembly may remain the same.
