Abstract: System and techniques for implementing a message bus for heterogenous data sources are described herein. A message for a target process can be received. A template—that includes a set of required data fields or a set of restrictions—for the target process can be retrieved. The template can be used to detect whether the message is missing a value corresponding to a data field in the set of required data fields. If the value is missing, the value can be retrieved to create a more complete message that can be routed based on a field in the more complete message.
