Patent number: 9676319Abstract: A tonneau cover system is provided for a cargo box of a pickup truck. The cargo box including a sidewall having an inboard side, wherein the inboard side extends downward and includes a lower edge. The tonneau cover system comprises a framework assembly positionable over the cargo box of the pickup truck and a bed rail extender having an engagement surface. The bed rail extender is adapted to attach to the inboard side such that the engagement surface is spaced downward from the lower edge of the inboard side. A clamp assembly is operably coupled to the framework system. The clamp assembly has an engaging member selectively positioned between a latched position and an unlatched position. The engaging member is adapted to contact the engagement surface of the bed rail extender in the latched position to retain the framework assembly to the cargo box.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2015Date of Patent: June 13, 2017Assignee: Advantage Truck Accessories, Inc.Inventor: Jeffrey A. Fink

Patent number: 9120413Abstract: A tonneau cover system is provided for a cargo box of a pickup truck. The tonneau cover system includes a framework system being positionable over the cargo box of the pickup truck. The system further includes a tonneau cover positioning system having a first positioner mount that is coupled or joined to the framework system. The first positioner mount has at least one downwardly-extending leg member extending from a main body portion to define a cross-sectional profile engageable with the cargo box of the pickup truck to inhibiting movement of the framework system relative to the cargo box of the pickup truck in vehicle fore and/or aft directions. In some embodiments, movement of the framework system can be inhibited in the vehicle fore and/or aft directions and also the cross vehicle direction. A bed rail extender clip is also provided.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 2013Date of Patent: September 1, 2015Assignee: ADVANTAGE TRUCK ACCESSORIES, INC.Inventor: Jeffrey A. Fink

Patent number: 7575708Abstract: A process of fabricating aerospace parts using selective laser sintering is provided, wherein the process generally comprises the steps of preparing a powder nylon material, loading the powder nylon material into a laser sintering machine, warming up the powder nylon material according to build warm-up parameters, building the part according to build parameters and part parameters, and cooling down the part according to build cool-down parameters. As a result, parts are produced that are directly used in aerospace structures, which meet the stringent performance requirements of aerospace applications, rather than as rapid prototypes as with conventional selective laser sintering processes. Additionally, specific designs for aerospace parts such as ducts, panels, and shrouds are provided that are produced by the selective laser sintering process.Type: GrantFiled: August 18, 2005Date of Patent: August 18, 2009Assignee: The Boeing CompanyInventors: Jeffrey E. DeGrange, Daniel F. Beilman, Robert P. Willer, Roger L. Spielman, Tracy L. Taylor, Kevin L. Wannemuehler, Jeffrey Fink, Gary G. Bond
