  • Patent number: 11260749
Abstract: Cooling control systems described herein detect decreased operation of a cooling system of a vehicle, restrict movement of the vehicle without stopping movement responsive to decreased operation of the cooling system, and restrict movement of the vehicle by preventing the vehicle from traveling at a speed and/or power output for a non-zero designated period of time. This can allow for the vehicle to continue moving for a temporary period of time to avoid blocking traffic. Other control systems determine predicted distances and/or times that the vehicle can continue moving before coolant in the cooling system decreases below a designated threshold. Movement of the vehicle can be changed responsive to an upcoming distance and/or time that the vehicle is to travel exceeding the predicted distance and/or time. Other control systems modify a coolant flow rate based on differences between designated and ambient conditions.

  • Patent number: 11257095
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system are disclosed for managing a return transaction within an environment having a plurality of purchasable item. The method acquires, using at least one visual sensor disposed within the environment, first image information including a first person and including a first item associated with the first person. The method identifies the first person using image analysis performed on the first image information. Further, the method determines, using image analysis performed on the first image information and based on one or more predetermined criteria, that the first item is eligible to be returned by the first person within the return transaction. Upon completion of one or more predefined return tasks specified for the first item within the return transaction, the method updates a first data structure representing an inventory of the environment to reflect the returned first item.

  • Patent number: 11247777
Abstract: Fluid dispersal systems and methods of controlling such systems are provided. A method for emitting a fluid from an aerial fluid dispersal system includes receiving data corresponding to an initial aerial distribution profile of fluid emitted by the aerial fluid dispersal system across a distribution width. The fluid is emitted through a plurality of individually controlled nozzle assemblies, and an emission rate of the fluid emitted from a respective nozzle assembly of the plurality of nozzle assemblies is based on an operating parameter of a valve assembly of the respective nozzle assembly. The method also includes determining an effect of the emission rate of each respective nozzle assembly on the initial aerial distribution profile of the fluid across the distribution width. The method also includes controlling the operating parameter of each respective valve assembly to adjust the emission rate of each respective nozzle assembly to generate a compensated distribution profile.
