  • Patent number: 11968199
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for authenticating image files when network connections should not or cannot be used to transfer image files. A user device application may capture an image at a user device, generate an image file, and generate a hash file based on the image file. Instead of sending the image file to an authentication server for authentication, the application may send the hash file. If desired, the application may transfer the image file when a desirable network connection is available. Any alteration to the image file in the meantime will result in a different hash file for the altered image file, thus allowing detection of altered image files. This approach offers decreases the amount of data that is required to be transmitted in low or undesirable signal conditions, while maintaining an ability to detect alterations to image files that may have been made in the meantime.

  • Patent number: 11943276
Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product for optimizing web conferencing is provided. The present invention may include receiving data for an organization, the organization being comprised of a plurality of participants. The present invention may include receiving a scheduled web conference. The present invention may include determining a network bandwidth threshold for each of the plurality of participants of the scheduled web conference based on at least the data received for the organization and data associated with the scheduled web conference. The present invention may include monitoring a network bandwidth of the scheduled web conference. The present invention may include determining whether to transmit a line art drawing for one or more participants based on the network bandwidth of the scheduled web conference.

  • Publication number: 20240086482
Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product for recovering a hyperlink. In one embodiment, the method comprises obtaining an invoked hyperlink from a user. The hyperlink is received by the user to highlight a content. A browser is used to invoke the hyperlink so as to collect associated metadata and other information required to retrieve and open the originating application at any time. This associated metadata and other information is then stored and obtained at a later time by invoking the browser. In addition, responsive to the user searching for the hyperlink, the content can then be opened by the browser using the stored associated metadata and other information.

  • Publication number: 20130291107
Abstract: A method of mitigating an application distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack on a network includes receiving at an application DDoS mitigation appliance application layer logs, parsing the application layer logs into an application layer forensic file, comparing an entry of the application layer forensic file with a human behavior profile to determine a malicious qualifier associated with an application DDoS attack on the network, parsing the application layer log into a per-source forensic file, comparing an entry of the per-source forensic files with the malicious qualifier to determine a malicious Internet protocol (IP) addresses associated with the application DDoS attack, and providing the malicious IP address to a network device, wherein the network device drops network traffic associated with the application DDoS attack based upon the malicious IP address.

  • Publication number: 20080076161
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for modifying a wild type nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide to enhance expression and accumulation of the polypeptide in the host cell by harmonizing synonymous codon usage frequency between the foreign DNA and the host cell DNA. This can be done by substituting codons in the foreign coding sequence with codons of similar usage frequency from the host DNA/RNA which code for the same amino acid. The present invention also provides novel synthetic nucleic acid sequences prepared by the method of the invention.
