  • Patent number: 11918527
Abstract: A sling bar assembly allows variable positioning of a sling on the sling bar assembly. Some sling bar assemblies include opposing sling bar members that are movable with respect to one another in a lateral direction. Some opposing sling bar members are repositionable between a locked position, in which movement of the sling members with respect to one another is restricted, and an unlocked position. Some sling bar assemblies include multiple sling hooks positioned on a sling bar member. Some sling bar assemblies include a biasing member that permits movement of a sling hook with respect to the sling bar assembly in the lateral direction.

  • Publication number: 20220301070
Abstract: A system and method for automatically screening applicants for disability insurance in real-time, and if the results are favorable, automatically communicating acceptances and issuing policies via wireless communication. An applicant's BMI is calculated, and the applicant is rejected if the BMI is too high or low. The applicant's prescription drug history is obtained, and the applicant is rejected if the history shows use of a drug associated with a serious medical condition. The acceptance or rejection and a premium for the insurance product may be set based upon the real-time screening results and communicated to the applicant. Additionally, an occupation class assigned to the applicant may be confirmed, a motor vehicle report for the applicant may be obtained, and an insurance information report for the applicant may be obtained. If the applicant is rejected, they may be allowed to apply for the insurance product using an alternate non-real-time process.

  • Patent number: 9810419
Abstract: A light emitting diode-based bulb that includes a bracket and a housing translatably coupled with the bracket. The housing includes at least one light emitting diode (LED) unit disposed on a front face of the housing arranged to generate light in a direction away from the front face of the housing and a rear face of the housing with a heat sink thermally integrated into the housing. The heat sink including at least one heat dissipating member extending outwardly from the rear face of the housing to dissipate heat generated by the at least one light emitting diode (LED) unit. A fan is attached to the rear face of the housing, where the fan generates airflow that removes the heat generated by the least one light emitting diode unit.

  • Publication number: 20050287607
Abstract: Provided are compositions and methods for identifying, enumerating and isolating B cells that react to a particular antigen. Included are tetrameric antigen-avidin complexes not comprising an MHC molecule, kits for producing the complexes, and reagents for diagnosing an autoimmune disease or monitoring progression of an autoimmune disease comprising the complexes. Also provided are B cells comprising the complexes and methods of using the complexes for: labeling a B cell reactive to a specific antigen, isolating a B cell reactive to a specific antigen from a mixture of B cells reactive to more than one antigen, quantifying B cells reactive to a specific antigen in a mixture of B cells reactive to more than one antigen, measuring immunity in a mammal characterized by the presence of B cells reactive to a specific antigen, and monitoring a disease in a mammal or determining whether a mammal has a disease characterized by the presence of B cells reactive to a specific antigen.
