Abstract: A surgical patient support includes a foundation frame, a support top, and a brake system. The foundation frame includes a first column and a second column. The support top is coupled to the first column and the second column for rotation about a top axis extending along the length of the support top. A single-handle unlock for the support top is also provided.

Abstract: A system for producing graphic displays includes a terminal having a display. Input devices such as a graphics tablet provide graphics input data to the system. A multilayered segmented graphics editor edits data supplied to the system. A device independent graphic data base stores edited graphics data of a plurality of symbols appearing on the display. A graphic controller controls the editor and the display. The system includes a program generator for generating corresponding source code programs for graphic displays on independent devices. The programs may be test program sets for automatic test equipment or source codes for computer aided design equipment or printers. The generated source codes may have control structures which permit the display of the independent device to be dynamically altered in response to inputs from the independent device.
