  • Publication number: 20230359750
Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor that may access a request for access by an application to a resource and may record the request in a data store. The processor may also identify an authorized entity to evaluate the request and output a notification to the authorized entity to evaluate the request, in which the authorized entity is to evaluate the request asynchronously with submission of the request by the application. In addition, the processor may determine whether a response is received from the authorized entity and, based on a determination that the response is received, may reject or grant the request based on the response and clear the record of the request from the data store.

  • Publication number: 20230336584
Abstract: A system for detecting whether a file including content s associated with a cyber-attack is described. The content may include an executable file for example. The system includes an intelligence-driven analysis subsystem and a computation analysis subsystem. The intelligence-driven analysis subsystem is configured to (i) receive the file, (ii) inspect and compute features of the file for indicators associated with a cyber-attack, and (iii) produce a first output representing the detected indicators. The computational analysis subsystem includes an artificial neural network to (i) receive a network input being a first representation of at least one section of binary code from the file as input, and (ii) process the first representation of the section to produce a second output. The first output and the second output are used in determination a classification assigned to the file.

  • Publication number: 20230315840
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer-readable storage mediums described herein are configured to detect anomalous post-authentication behavior/state change(s) with respect to a workload identity. For example, audit logs that specify actions performed with respect to the workload identity of a platform-based identity service, a causing state change(s), while another identity is authenticated with the platform-based identity service, are analyzed. The audit log(s) are analyzed via a model for anomaly prediction based on actions. The model generates an anomaly score indicating a probability whether a particular sequence of the actions is indicative of anomalous behavior/state change(s). A determination is made that an anomalous behavior has occurred based on the anomaly score, and when anomalous behavior has occurred, a mitigation action may be performed that mitigates the anomalous behavior.

  • Patent number: 11763699
Abstract: Various examples described herein are directed to systems, methods, and computer-readable medium for providing a tactile response. A document that includes visual data is received. Change data for the visual data that indicates changes in data values of the visual data from a previous time is received. The visual data is rendered. An indication that a section of the document is selected is received. The section includes a first visual data. A change of the first visual data is determined front the change data. A tactile response unit is controlled to provide a tactile response based on the change of the first visual data.

  • Patent number: 11729204
Abstract: A method for performing cyber-security analysis includes storing a semantic graph with nodes representing monitored computer-based entities, and edges representing monitored relationships. Each edge has an associated tally. A set of threat scores associated with multiple computer-based entities is stored in the memory. The semantic graph is updated in response to receiving event data. The updating includes decomposing the event data into a set of entities and a set of associated relationships, updating the tally of one of the edges based on the set of relationships, modifying an alert attribute of a monitored computer-based entity when the event data includes an applicable alert, and modifying a threat score of at least one computer-based entity based on the event data when the event data includes an applicable alert, to define a set of modified threat scores. The updated semantic graph is monitored for cyber-security risks within the multiple computer-based entities.
