Patent number: 11490920Abstract: A surgical instrument includes a housing, an end effector, a movable handle, and a drive assembly. The movable handle includes first and second cantilever spring arms and is movable relative to the housing between a spaced-apart position and an approximated position. The first cantilever spring arm is flexed upon movement of the movable handle from the spaced-apart position towards the approximated position to bias the movable handle towards the spaced-apart position. The drive assembly is operably coupled between the movable handle and the end effector such that movement of the movable handle from the spaced-apart position towards the approximated position moves the end effector from an open position towards a clamping position for clamping tissue. The second cantilever spring arm is flexed upon application of a threshold pressure to tissue clamped by the end effector to control an amount of pressure applied to tissue clamped by the end effector.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2020Date of Patent: November 8, 2022Assignee: Covidien LPInventors: Jason L. Craig, Ryan C. Artale, Thomas W. Meiser, Roland Jeffrey Wyatt

Patent number: 11406872Abstract: An interactive exercise system includes a mechanical support system and a display module held by the mechanical support system. A force-controlled motor is attached to the mechanical support system and a reel is driven by the force-controlled motor. The interactive exercise system also has a handle graspable by a user and includes a cord extending between the reel and the handle. Force applied through the force-controlled motor is based at least in part on detected user force input.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 2019Date of Patent: August 9, 2022Assignee: INTERACTIVE STRENGTH, INC.Inventors: Trent Ward, Gregor Angus Berkowitz, Roland Jeffrey Wyatt, Yves Albert Behar

Patent number: 9711115Abstract: The present invention is directed to a capo for use with a stringed musical instrument and which is engaged from the bottom portion of the neck of the musical instrument. The capo has a generally L-shaped frame connected to a lever and a pincher configured so that pressure applied to the lever causes the pincher to move toward the lever, allowing the space between the pincher and free end portion of the frame to receive the neck of the musical instrument. The exterior of the frame is configured to received interchangeable inlays, and the free end portion of the frame is configured to receive changeable neck pads.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2016Date of Patent: July 18, 2017Assignee: Thalia Capos LLCInventors: Christopher Michael Bradley, Roland Jeffrey Wyatt, Jeffrey Alan Tilley, Thalia Roze Bradley

Patent number: 9694134Abstract: An infusion assembly is provided. Such an infusion assembly includes a first infusion body and a first nozzle operably engaged with the first infusion body. A first plunger is configured to translate longitudinally within the first infusion body for dispensing a first substance out of the first infusion body through the first nozzle. The plunger has a translating member and a stopper piston separable and removable from the translating member. Once separated, the stopper piston is capable of receiving a second nozzle of a second infusion body such that the first substance, along with a second substance in the second infusion body, are capable of being sequentially administered to a target site. An associated method and kit are also provided.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2014Date of Patent: July 4, 2017Assignee: Zoetis Services LLCInventors: Christopher Michael Bradley, Roland Jeffrey Wyatt, Jeffrey Alan Tilley, Bradley Welding Kolstad
