Patent number: 11357679Abstract: The present disclosure illustrates a motorized mount with a plurality of degrees of freedom coupled to a seating system. The motorized mount assembly can include an attachment assembly configured to attach to a seating assembly. A vertical control assembly can be connected to the attachment assembly with an arm having a first end attached to vertical control assembly by a first hinge. A mounting assembly can be attached to a second end of the arm. The mounting assembly can configured to receive a personal computing device. A linear actuator may be attached to the vertical control assembly to raise and lower the arm and mounting assembly. A first motor can be configured to attach to the arm. A second motor can be configured to attach between the arm and the mounting assembly.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 2020Date of Patent: June 14, 2022Inventors: Bradley S. Duerstock, Jeffrey Ackerman

Publication number: 20210329999Abstract: A face shield made of a single sheet of transparent material. An example face shield includes a front face covering, a first side strap having a tab, and a second side strap having at least one slot. The slot is configured to engage with the tab on the first side strap to assemble the first side strap to the second side strap and form a band for positioning the face shield on a user's head. A cantilever tab is provided above the front face covering, and a slot is formed in the front face covering. The cantilever tab rolls back onto the front face covering and the cantilever tab connects into the slot to form an adjustable spacer to maintain a distance between the user's head and the front face covering when worn by the user.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 22, 2021Publication date: October 28, 2021Inventor: Jeffrey Ackerman

Patent number: 6363217Abstract: A heater box for PCB boards uses open cell metal foam as a heat sink and diffuser of heated gas. The heated gas is dispensed through a metal fabric mesh and then to the PCB to be heated. The gas is introduced under pressure and flow regulated to conduits in the metal foam diffuser. The conduits have side holes that allow the gas to diffuse evenly through the foam. The gas is heated by electrical resistance heaters built into the conduits or by a resistance heated layer between the conduits and the foam. The frame that holds the PCB to be heated and the metal fabric mesh and the heater box itself are all laterally floating with respect to each other.Type: GrantFiled: February 2, 2001Date of Patent: March 26, 2002Assignee: GenRad, Inc.Inventors: Mark J.
