Abstract: A trailer for use with off-road vehicles such as all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles. The disclosed off-road trailer can be adjusted to accommodate different trailer beds and attachments that can be readily off loaded and can be compactly packaged for shipping and storage. Modules for different conditions (e.g., ground or snow surface) can be implemented for multi-season usage. The disclosed suspension assembly enhances performance and robustness while maintaining cost effectiveness. The utility of the disclosed off-road trailer may be enhanced by grab handles for manual maneuvering, a rear bumper, and an active tail light. The overall design of the off-road trailer enables towing cargo behind a snowmobile or off-road vehicle over rough terrain at higher rates of speed than conventional off-road towable trailers.

Abstract: A passive flow modulation device for a machine defining an axial direction and a radial direction, the passive flow modulation device including: a first ring with a first coefficient of thermal expansion; a second ring disposed coaxially with the first ring and positioned at least partially inward of the first ring along the radial direction, spaced from the first ring along the axial direction, or both, the first ring, the second ring, or both defining at least in part one or more passages, the second ring with a second coefficient of thermal expansion that is less than the first coefficient of thermal expansion to passively modulate a size of the one or more passages during operation.

Abstract: A reverse osmosis system to be connected to a feed water conduit and producing permeate water is disclosed. The reverse osmosis system includes a plurality of tubular bodies each having a first end and a second end, a first inner end plate attached to the first end of the tubular bodies, and a second inner end plate attached to the second end of the tubular bodies. The plurality of tubular bodies houses a filter, a pump, and two reverse osmosis membranes therein. The plurality of tubular bodies is configured to be connected in in fluid communication with each other via channels disposed within the end plates.

Abstract: A method and system for coordinating travel arrangements. A global travel utility (“GTU”) system allows travel service provider (“TSP”) systems to be connected via a communications link to a “concierge” system. The GTU system includes computer systems that execute the TSP systems and the concierge system. The concierge system provides components for assisting the traveler in creating an itinerary and for storing traveler profile information. The concierge system also includes an event notification component that receives various event notifications from the TSP systems. Upon receiving an unanticipated event notification, the concierge system automatically identifies the itineraries impacted by the event and automatically changes those itineraries as appropriate.
