The speaker assembly generally includes a housing (22) including an electrical contact (26) for use with a light bulb socket for supplying electrical power to the housing. The speaker assembly further includes a receiver, an amplifier, and a speaker (24) being disposed within and electrically connected to the housing, wherein the receiver receives an audio signal and delivers it to the amplifier, and wherein the amplifier amplifies the signal for delivery to the speaker.
