    Abstract: A method for maintaining a user profile is described, including: obtaining, from a mobile device, identification information uniquely identifying a user; obtaining location information of the user; obtaining time information related to the location information; and updating a user profile of the user based on the identification information, the location information, and the time information. The user profile is usable for determining the user's access to one or more sessions of a multi-session event. The user profile may be dynamically updated. A method performed by a mobile device, and corresponding apparatus, are also described.
