    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a system, a method, and an apparatus to selectively control brightness of information displayed on a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). A graphics layer can be provided in a display area of the LCD, and a semi-transparent mask layer can be provided above the graphics layer. An information graphics layer can be provided above the semi-transparent mask layer. The information graphics layer can be controlled to selectively display predetermined information on the LCD at an intended brightness, while remaining information from the underlying graphics layer can be dimmed relative to the brightness of the display predetermined information by activation of the semi-transparent mask layer.

Each light icon may be in the shape of a light and corresponding to one of the light groups. Each light icon may be displayed proximal to the machine icon in a position generally indicative of a location on the Machine of the light group that corresponds to the light icon. In an embodiment, a light beam may be displayed generally adjacent to the first light icon to show a direction of light when the corresponding light group on the Machine is illuminated.

Also, the pitch indicator and the roll indicator can be configured to change to a first color and a second color based on a degree of movement or pivot.

A display screen of the operator interface has a machine performance information display section and a message display section disposed in offset relationship thereto. The controller is adapted to assemble a pop-up message from the data in the data storage device in response to receiving a signal indicative of a machine condition and to provide the pop-up message to the operator interface for display in the message display section of the display screen. The controller is adapted to remove the pop-up message from the display screen for a period of time in response to receiving a hide signal from the operator interface and to re-display the pop-up message in the message display section of the display screen after the period of time has elapsed if the machine condition still exists.

An operator's station is disposed between the ceiling structure and the floor structure, and is configured to position an operator in a driving position. First and second vertical support bars extend from the ceiling structure to the floor structure. The first and second vertical support bars are disposed forwardly of the operator's station land are spaced a substantially equal distance from a longitudinal axis of the work machine. Third and fourth vertical support bars also extend from the ceiling structure to the floor structure. The third and fourth vertical support bars are spaced a substantially equal distance from the longitudinal axis. The distance from the first and second vertical support bars to the longitudinal axis is less than the distance from the third and fourth vertical support bars to the longitudinal axis.
